the top of my plants are gorgeous and healthy, but the bottom, even on the little ones, the leaves are yellow.

what is causing this? i notice too on the big plants all the really big leaves are turning yellow on some spots. what causes this?

i have added a picture. some of the things i was thinking were, 1-deffeciancy of nutrients 2-too much nutrients, which it cant be because i only started feeding them a little while ago and they were all yellowing before this. 3-ph levels in the soil. other than those i dont really know.

you can see in the pic especially on the bigger plant, the bottom leaves are going yellow. a few have had to be pulled off.

The usual culprit to lower bottom leaves turning yellow is lack of illumination to the bottom portion of the canopy. In your case though it is hard to tell without close up pictures but it appears you have a toxicity. At that distance I see that the tips of your fan leaves indicate a nutrient toxicity. I would flush your plants with 3 times the amount of water that your container can hold then introduce a very small amount of your nutrient cocktail. Might consider modifying your nutrient formula because the strain you are growing is obviously not liking what you are feeding it. Get closer pics of your plants and maybe someone here will be able to give you the actual nutrient toxicity. Best of luck.

its looking like nitrogen deficiency but im not all that sure..lets others chime in and see wha they think
yeah thats what i thought too, so ive fed it nutrients now, only twice but the top leaves really seem to be loving the nutrients, they are nice and lush. but the bottom leaves i havent really noticed a difference,

If they're in gd enough soil they shouldn't be showing any deficiencies yet even if u were watering them pure water. They really dont seem to be likin wat ur givin em so i'll lay off them completely for a bit, maybe give them a flush and make sure ur not overwatering. The pot should be COMPLETELY dry before each water.
