I just flushed my plants 3 days ago. After you flush your plants, are u supposed to let the soil dry out before you add water with nutes, or do you flush your soil and right after that water with nutes? thanks

yes let it dry out some. rule of thumb is stick your finger in the soil up to your 2nd nuckle. if its dry its time to water. good luck with your grow.

what is your purpose of flushing...? you always want to let the soil dry a little before you give more water...but are you flushing for a finish or a deficiency...if for finish you dont want to give anymore nutes from this point on and dont have to wait very long to give more water..if for a def. you will want to wait a bit before adding more nutes..maybe 3-4 days at 1/4 strenght and bump it up from there.....

The whole idea of flushing is to help get rid of nutrient buildup prior to harvesting. Now it sounds like in your flushing method you are still placing nutrients as well. To each their own I suppose. For me I only use molasses and clearex and water 10 days prior to harvest.

I myself do not introduce nutrients during the flush because I am eventually promoting propogation of the plant. Eliminate the primary nutrients to the plant and the plant think it is dying therefore induces a shock to them which increases resin formation. The window is small so seeding out does not occur. I also enter the plant into darkness for up to 5 days depending on the strain the heighten resin production.

I had been giving my plants 5.5PH water in soil when I meant to be giving them 6.3..but my PH meter calibration was way off and did not know until my plants started turning yellow. I flushed with 6.8 water until I got the runoff in the soil to 6.3.

they are most likley turning yellow from a lack of nitrogen....look into some guano for a soil dressing...
