you can test it out anytime you want its your plants. they should be atleast 4-6 weeks, or 12-18 inches tall. if your cloning i would use a clone 1-2 weeks anfter u take the clone. and flower that so you still have the mother plant still in veg. and can take more clones off of it.

remember, your yield is going to be incredibly low if you flower too early... but you'll still get some smoke. Also, doesn't it stunt the plants growth if it's flowered young?

the smaller the plant the smaller the yeild. if you have the space i would grow them 1/2 the size of the room before flowering.

when i actually do it ill put up the pictures but my plants are only a week into veg so itll be a few more weeks before it happens.

Actually in the 1st time PC grow thread someone just posted a link to a thread, on icmag, that is dedicated to going 12/12 from seed. I would check that out

you aren't doing 12/12 straight from seed. Do you know the sex of your plant for sure?? were they fem seeds (even those aren't always guarantees but close)???

If you aren't sure, I would say veg until your plant shows it's sex, if it is a strong plant, I would mother it and start cloning at that time.

I dont know the sex of the plant and i am not doing 12/12 but some people are telling me that aint bad. I really dont want to fuck my sprouts over in the begining so i am doing 18/6. I wish there was a way to tell sex earlier that be nice.

Put 'em in deeper pots and cover them to within about 2" of the leaves in new, moistened soil. But first get some light on 'em. They are stretching to find the light.

No way to tell sex of the plant until after you go to flower.

also do you have a fan circulating that is blowing lightly on your plant??

if not, I would get one. It will help to toughen up that stem.

The plant will show it's sex during veg. usually around 4 to 6 weeks. The females will show pistils
