One of the biggest no-no's is touching whatever is being shipped, then touching the baggie..then the box..then the tape..and then wonder why LEO is interested..No thought is given to the fact, that if "it" smells..and it does, then they've just spread the dank onto the outside of the box...no sense..
Isn't it just wonderful how many have a hand out, but it's always empty and wanting to be filled ..for nada..Where are their offerings? Kinda like"wish in one hand..shit in the other"..which fills first... I've sent a few things out to those who don't have the wherewithal to grow ahead.. So, I believe in "paying it forward" in the hope that that person will also "pay forward" It's up to us "more experienced" folks to assist dem youngun's. I know without help from an ancient and revered greensman, I wouldn't be where I am today growing..Now there are times I'd like to throttle that Oldephart, but not really*s*

I've received 'help' and a few hand outs from older growers back when I was trying to figure out which way was up. Without their help (and some people on here) I probably would be lost, or in jail from doing stupid shit. So I would agree with you that I feel a sense of responsibility to 'pay it forward'.

But who you 'pay it forward' to is very important. At least to me. Because at least to some degree, you're putting your neck out. Doubtful that it would ever get traced back to you, but who knows.

On top of that, I"m very skeptical to help out those that I already know aren't going to listen and will fuck it up. I hate to send seeds to someone knowing that they are going to keep 10 seeds in a closet under a 23w CFL, hoping to sell the weed for mad cash. That or sending seeds to someone who I already know will get caught, making us all look bad.

I agree, that's also why the gloves..off addy, and away Post office, but I do screen as best I can, only to those who I've communicated with at some length..Then I'm still cautious..

so people are really willing to pay $125 plus shipping for cuttings?...i thought $12 plus tax at the club was pushing it....and im able to see the product before i buy it....

HAHAHA, oh jesus christ, here we go again!!!! read the beginning of thread bro, it goes on for pages! "people" are willing to pay the absurd price because we can't just stroll down to the club and buy em, as there are no clones to be found..i've never even seen a clone for sale, so i'd pay just about anything.

I hear ya...im just a cheap batard is all...i wont even pony up the money to order the seeds i want..i just wait until i see cuttings or my friends get the strain going...but im sure if i didnt have the accesibility i had i would be browsing that catalog...they look like they were healthy and came from decent enough mothers...are you going to mother yours out or flower it out?

I orderd the Bubba, Purple Kush and the GDP.

My firend has his order ready to go as soon as mine shows up;-) hes getting the Gods Gift, Sour Diesel and Tahoe Kush....sending a blank money order

LoL..in michigan if you find a grower who is willing to part with a clone its usually around 50-75 a piece..So I think growers in michigan will take 3 cuttings with proven genetics for the price of what they are offering..Its not gonna be for California people but for people in other parts where its hard to get strains of this quality. Not all people like to spend money on seeds and go through the pain of finding the mothers. And some of these cuts are clone only cuts..seeds aint gonna produce them. bongsmilie

Very nice choices ..Bubba and GDP will be on my next order for sure..I'm gonna do a trade with someone who got the grape romulin and the purple kush.. Mine are gonna be my mothers.bongsmilie

yeah i was just looking..thye have some nice strains.....i just hope you guys are smart and mother these cuts out and get the most for your buck...:bigjoint:.....

My friend and I are going to exchange clones with each other.... so for $135 out of each of our pockets... we willl both have 6 clones...

so MY out of pocket expense for 6 clones is $25 a piece with the cost of sending the payment

That's kind of what I wanted to do but I don't want anyone, even friends know that I grow.
