Yeah, love the coco:clap:

I use straight Canna coco and am experimenting with CNS17 coco/soil formula under 400w CMH in 2.6 liter pots, after 30 days from seed the plants are over a foot tall and wide, growing explosively fast.

Coco is so much easier to use in a small-scale grow, I can't imagine going back to anything else.

Well here is some pic's of my coco compost.. I used about 5 cubic feet of coco multiple grades.. and potatoes, tomatoes, coffee grounds, lettuce banana peals, avacodo shells, egg shells.. Just about anything that is not meat.. If anyone has any suggestions I would be glad to here.. This is only my second coco true organics run and the first was on tomatoes...

ok so i am moving over to a drip recirc system
the guy in the shop (groan now) says never use coco in recirc. coco RTW is his recomendation, but if i demand recirc (i do) then to use hydroton.
who what where when why is it so ?

ps i have used coco alot before and love it.

thats me vegging in coco to about 20cm/8in high, yes i love coco!

Thanks alot bro..
I say your guy is not aware.. But not going against what he told you.. But some very simple things can be done so you can recycle your water.. I use a res tank and recycle all my water for about a week.. And I have used it in dwc. And I have used it outdoors and now I use it on a drip system that I hand water.. And the rule is flush the coco out like crazy.. I mean when its clear flush for another hour no lie..

But I didn't flush enough this run but now it's starting to clear up..

But they even make 4x4 mats for ebb n flow table's.. and you can even run a whole 4 x4 table in coco if you want.. hydroton.. Is good to.. I just love the taste from the coco.. It leaves them tasting more on the organic side..

And thats a beautiful little sativa plant you have there

mog- attempted to access the website but couldn't... when will it be up (curious to run the coir)?

Glad to hear another who believes in preflushing... currently under the CCGro & get initial run-offs @ 760. Highest have been with Canna @ 2000+. Also cut with 20% chunky perlite, so interested in the S1 to avoid this step.

Have issues with continued pH drop to 4.5-4.9, where it stabilizes. This is initial flush of appx 4x media volume- always pH's to 6.0. It just drops & drops with each flush until it bottoms out at listed above. Any ideas on why this is occurring? How does the coir you listed balance out?

Thank you & best!

Looking juicy at 4 weeks, mog.

Here are some bushes 10 days into 12/12. 4 gallon buckets, and one 1 gallon, in coco with about 25% perlite. The real fun is about to begin.

Where do you get those glass tubes that you use for air cooling? I heard you can buy them off ebay, but I don't know what they are called..
I got mine at a local hydro store where I used to live. They are sold online, and I think a few different companies make them. Mine is the Cool Tube made by HydroFarm.

I've also seen HydroTek Cool Star and Sun System's Sun Tube at online shops.

They also make a Dual cool tube for two bulbs in one tube. I just have two of them hooked together with ducting. (Pic from a previous run.)

The fan pulls air in through the filter which is in the closet at the top, then the air goes through the cool tubes and out of the closet, where the fan sits and exhausts somewhere else. I have fresh air intakes through the pvc tubes you see winding around in some pics. Exact same concept as a tent I guess.
