Grow Room Out of PVC?

Would I better to use Wood or PVC to build a grow room? I was thinking since pvc has easy connectors it wouldnt be too hard to just whip one together. I could also use the pvc to run water through it later on and do an occasional mist (probably wont though).

Any thoughts on this?

I've seen green houses made out of pvc don't think there is a good reason why it wouldn't work hell i just wish i had thought of that. + reps for the idea.

okay, I'm interested. What you would "drape" over the PVC after you had the frame together?

What's a good reflective tent like material? I think I'm getting some thoughts here...I always like a grow room that I can tear down promptly.

I just finished a pvc frame and it seems to be pretty solid. I used 3/4" pipes and I'm going to use nylon on the outside with 1 mil mylar on the inside to drape over the frame.

Excellent made grow "room."

In the long run, wood would be better.

If it's just a simple grow space for one harvest you could use pvc piping as it's cheap and easy to put up and disassemble.

well my family enjoys the thought of moving.. a lot lol. So what ive learned is that pvc is very easy to disassemble. So my plan is that i picked up a lot of reflective white /black (one side white, one side black) plastic that im going to line the entire PVC cage with and use that to do my thing. If i can make it stable enough i plan to do a 6' high container, with 2 shelves. one is going to be 2' from the top, containing clones and possibly early veg plants. The bottom would contain flowering plants. Super Cropped and not any higher 3' If That fails. Ill build 2 cages, 1 flower 1 veg.

There are all sorts of websites that sell specialty pvc parts for building structures. Stuff you won't find at Home Depot - three-way joints, clips to hold the panda film to the pipes, etc.
