Hi everyone. This is my first post. I am a total newbee with some questions, searching for advice. I am a middle-aged man with a mini-van!
Background:
I live in Colorado Springs, CO. I haven't tried marijuana in 15 years, so I am nut a user and I don't even know any users. I am naive, but learning alot from you guys recently.
I injured my left shoulder socket in an offroad motorcycle wreck last year; went to the doctor after 6 months of reoccurring pain spells. The doc prescribed physical therapy. I didn't have time to go, so I never followed up with him again, but it is on record as a painful injury that persisted longer than 6 months. Now, it has been a year and I still get pain spells from it. usually a week or two at a time. I really have to baby my arm and be careful how I sleep on it.
If I follow up on it, the doc will want me to do physical therapy and probably get x-rays. I don't want a cortizone shot or surgery and I cant spare the time and money right now to fix my shoulder, so I just deal with the painful spells.
Here's my question:
Would a Cannibis Specialist have enough grounds to recommend me for a card at this point, even though I didn't do my physical therapy? Is one doctors visit 6 months after the accident conclusive enough to say I have chronic pain? Is it necessary that I pay for another doctor visit, even though I have no intentions of getting xrays or doing physical therapy right now, Just to have the additional info on doctors records at the 1 year mark? Must I have two doctor's visits, or do you think I am good to go already.
Please advise. I respect the opinions of this forum.
