Light set up?

So I just started growing and I'm using a tube cfl not sure how many watts or w/e.

but my question is how should I set up the lights?

I'm in a closet with good space and only a few plants.

I'm no electrician. haha. so if anyone can offer help as to what exactly they bought for fixtures and where they bought it at and how to set it up that would be AMAZING. lol.

I'm lookin to stay on the cheap side as well, and for my first grow I'm not trying to be perfect with it yet.

so update :

I went to walmart today. I found florescents but I'm not sure how many to use.

I really need to know what wattage everyone uses. The one I was planning on buying only uses 15 watts per bulb. How many watts do you guys think I need for one good plant?

For flower, 12/12, use the 42 watt (150 w equivalent) 2700k bulbs. Buy 6 if you can.

Most will say the daylight (5000k?) should be used for veg.

The 2700k work find for both IMHO.

if you have the room i would buy the 4' floros. there like $10 at walmart. the best place to buy the tubes is homedepot. you can get 10-4' 6500K tubes for $20 and 2-4' 3000K tubes for $7. i would try and go with 40 watt better lumes. the higher the watts the better the lumes.
