Seed storage till...........!

Hi all............
Need to know, after receiving seeds in the mail, what's the best storage method till I'm ready to germinate. I'm not sure on indoor or outdoor but I do know my "frost date" is May 15 hence me having some storage time till I germinate.

So far I've received 7 strains x 10 seeds each.

I put my initial 3 strains (3 packs of 10), packed in super small glass vials, in the freezer. I just received 4 more strains and before I put those in the freezer I want to know if that's ok.

Is the freezer OK? I've looked on these forums but haven't seen any storage threads.

i would have thought the fridge would be enuff. i've germinated bag seed from 2000 that was just in a baggy, in a drawer.

i believe cool, dark place is the rule of thumb.

dark, dry, cool, i keep mine in a pill bottle in cool cupboard.

I'll go the pill bottle route.................................................in a dark, dry, cool place.
I was of the understanding and I think I've read that a freezer was ok as well?
Would you think the ones I have in the freezer are ok?

put some rice in an airtight container(preferably glass) along with the seeds and put it in the darkest part of your freezer. This will keep them at tip top shape until your ready to plant them.

freezer is good but frig is better a key word here is moisture more in freezer and also can only be frozen once im out

thats why you put the rice in, the rice will absorb the moisture, while still allowing you the keep the temperatures cold
