I just say that b/c if your growing for yourself, its best to get the most out of the least amount of plants. Especially since we all grow medically ;-) and have a limit on the number of plants.

But hey whatever floats your boat.
I just like the perpetual style of growing...

I like fresh buds every 2 weeks...

I like no vegg...

Trimming is easier...

As you say.. different people have different preferences...

I have grown big bushes outdoors and loved them too .. but outdoors...

Inside, I prefer to have really small plants that have a single cola... they get dense and full from top to bottom...

But that is just me...

Cheers.... :bigjoint:

Follow this and scale it to what fits you. This man is genious, its rather simple but very effective can even use soil which is what I am trying to set up. A bit smaller also lol bongsmilie

ive just read the albfuct for the first time.. i have been growing for 10+ and im starting to think ive wasted alot of time .. i get 2.5 to 3.2 pounds with 3 1000's.. and i have a 30 site ezcloner and a 4x4 t5 for vegging... not to mention 3 4x4 tables

i think im becoming a fucthead also.. im thinking of dedicating my self around this method..

thats over twice the yield i get now.. are these close to what you get gypsy??

gypsybush-

I have a grow very similar to yours, but i have some issues with leaves getting in the way of other plants. it looks like you trimmed off all your big fan leaves, or is that after harvest? what sort of spacing do you have? (currently im doing about 4 per sq foot and working well, but id like to up to 5 per sq ft, so im curious how trimming off the big fans affects the outcome)

I am pretty new to the ebb flow SOG and haven't gotten the full rotation down to a science yet...

I run 4 strains... I am lazy...and disorganized...

But I have managed to get 1/2 to 3/4 per plant as Al did... and I am just getting started...

Al ran 2 1000s on 4 tables... 3 would be even better... get them aircooled witha kick ass fan and grow short plants... the will be almost as wide as they are tall... hahahaha... serious denseness ... like... holy nuggets from heaven batman! lol...:eyesmoke:

Those pictures are just before harvest... after the fan leaves were plucked off...

I do not pull leaves until they are dead or I am killing the plant...

I do not get into the math of it, but my plants need no more room than the pots, so as many as you can fit in a tray...

Leaves are food factories for the plant... without leaves it will starve...

I do not remove the fan leaves... neither should you.. or anyone...:bigjoint:

Sorry if it was misleading... I have before and after pics.. these are just prettier...

Very little light penatrates the bottom section of the plant once they increase in size and the bottom of the plant is useing valuble nutes that could be used in another part of the plant.you can get around this by putting a couple of flouresents on the wall of your grow room 1 on each side just above pot size but i wouldnt bother just cut the bottom few brances off you get better air circlation has well but it won't hurt anything if you dot cut them.

Where in the hell am I?

sorry for tellin tales outside of the school house.. but yeah 8 weeks ideally but 6/7 will work although you would need to adjust your set up accordingly..6/7 week strains generally yield less so might not be a good thing to give up mass when your doing this kind of grow..
Also gypsy: good point on the drippers.. i use 4x4 flood tables but with drippers to the top of 3 gallon buckets ... if i went to a SOG and got 1 gallon pots and had to move 20+ a week the drippers would be a pain in the ass.. ebb and flow seem the way to go....
gypsy how long do you flush.. 2 weeks??
