i have major animal problems i just planted 10 newly sprouted ealry mistys and 8 got dug up. should i just move or try to deal witht the problem. how?

if your not trying to be to stealth i would just put a small fence around the plant like chicken wire wrapped in a circle but finer mesh or use screen door material around sticks or something to keep those fucking animals out

if stealth use fishing line, place one less then a foot off the ground then another about 4-5 foot off the ground.

this is what happens to critters who snatch my plants.i had a critter problem too and i had to move mine indoors. but i have a cat with the attitude of a lion and he takes care of the ones who make it inside. my neighbor said she saw my cat dragging a corps the size of a dog the other day. lol she is a beast. her name is katyusha, like the rocket.

gruesome. yea if your outdoors your definateley going to need to find a way to keep animals away. if any deer found your plot you would have any plant by the end of a week. they love it. haha. and if they were all dug up you might want to find a more stealth place. you may have a neighbor that doesnt approve.

crazy first off go fuck yourself. i cant control what my cat does, all i can do is pick up the peices she leaves on my floor.....you are a doooooosh bag... and im not a young grower and also my plants are just fine ...you need to go die...you old fart, whats the matter you been sittin in a shitty depends for too long?
early go get some predator piss, like mountain lion piss, or wolf piss. circle your spot with a good stream then walk through the woods and mark a large circle in the area. it WILL keep out any animals your having trouble with......predator piss is good stuff, they sell it at your local hunting fishing store....and dick head i dont see these plants dying till i kill em sucka. my plants are fine, but thank you for the concern..ya doosh

What a bunch of worthless posts. It's one thing to say that your cat protects your plants and keeps predators away, it's certainly another to post up pictures of the remains...that's a bit twisted.
I don't know how it makes you crazy and that you should die because your cat killed a wild animal. Now if YOU killed it, that would be a different story.

back to the question...Unless they are just in a killer spot and the only good one why risk it? Move them mofos and buy some cheap cologne to spray around when you visit. String fishing line up around the plants 5ft away from them @ 2ft and 4 ft high. That will scare deer away. Reapply cologne everytime it rains.

sorry folks some animals are just bad creatures occasionally. 1 out of every 3 Opossums where I live has rabies

You have some wussy deer around you. Around here unless you build a strong frame and use heavy wire and also put a top of the same construction on it they will break in around here.
A couple summers ago I was raising tomatoes and beets on BIG pots on my deck, which is off the second floor so you come up a bunch of steps from the back of the house to get to it. Anyway one day I went out and the pots with beets in them were all dug up and some tipped over and there was dirt all around and in the dirt was deer tracks.
I have two dogs, not big dogs but one is a spaniel mix and the other is a beagle and the night it happened they were on the deck barking up a storm in the middle of the night and all I can figure is it was when the deer went up on my deck and it looked at the two smallish dogs and thought what can those runts do to me and it ignored them and have a snack. Around here about the only way to keep deer away is to shoot them.
Now depending on where you live and how twisted and how brave you are you could do like I read a number of outdoors growers in Kentucky and Tennessee do to keep both animals and people away from their grows and also to lay nasty traps for LEO that might come a-lookin. They will catch Copperheads and Rattlesnakes and put a ring of wire through the tip of their tails and attach about 6-feet or so of thin line to the ring and then attach the other end to a stake driven in the ground. They make a ring of them around their plants, a fair distance away so they are far enough away so you cant see the plants from the snake circle and put enough of them to have coverage of the whole area. Any small animals that come close end up food and bigger ones smell and or hear the snakes and avoid them and people get nipped and tend to head off in the other direction rather quickly after that.
So it depends on what critters you are dealing with and how brave or aggressive they are and to what lengths you can go and are willing to go.

of course i feed my cat. i feed him well. he just has this hunter spirit. how can i help if a cat kills an animal amd drags it back to my bedroom. shes only doing what her wild instinct tells her. i dont understand why that makes me elligable for bad karma and death to my plants......just a wee bit harsh. and crazy dont even mention war you dont know what war is you old fart. you anal bastard. war with you ha thats a joke. you wouldnt stand a chance. yeah im young. obviously your old and misserable, and must be sittin in those shitty depends again. or is it sand in your vagina. i know thats annoying. im 34 years young and you keep calling me a young buck and all that. i guess that makes you older than most of the strains out there. see ya you geriatric buzzid

If it was my plot i go to my local barber and get hair put a line of hair arowned the plot or piss a circle arowned your plot. The animals will smell it and not want to go into the circle if that dosint work ill lend you my cross bow and we can go hunting!!!
