No.... There's many, MANY, different voodoos that apparently influence genetics... other than the chemicals they use to feminize seeds(which isn't 100% either)... I don't think environment will change the sex from male to female. High stress can possibly induce hermies in genetic females. Really long flower times have been said to make *some* plants grow balls in an effort to self pollinate... they may have been hermie to start... who knows.
I'd suggest you use bag seed & 16 oz cups(3-4 inch upper diameter is about 9 small plants/sq foot), and flower in those(could 12/12 from start, first sign of balls, chop them). Grow a bunch of bag seed(one of those 26w can decently light a sq foot or 9-12 babies with a proper reflector). Take the best genes(females), clone them(and veg known females longer
), sex them(if you get a strong male from a good known strain, like one you bought and would of chopped), etc. Have fun with it. You could develop a new
strain!
Female clones are always females.
