this works.

whenever you check on the plant, take your finger and just nudge the stem for a while, poke at it, so the plant moves, do this all the time and soon you will be strong. kind of shake it with your finger. i did this with my plant, and its crasy how thick and strong the stem is now.

if u really need to, build it some crutches and shake it, kinda like rehab.

or you could just put a fan that will keep it moving constantly. this way the stems will be even stronger. plants that grow in the wind are often much stronger than those that do not. also make sure you have enough light. often if you dont have enough light the plant will stretch making the plant top heavy. you may need to tie the plant up for a while until the stem is strong enough to support the plant on its own.

What he said ….. but with one addition. If you do tie up the plant do not tie it tight and add a small fan to blow on the plant so it will sway. Like he said the swaying motion caused by wind is what makes trees and plants grow thicker stronger trunks and stems etc. I always have a small fan blowing on my plants for that reason. Movement causes stem thickening and that means a stronger plant that is also less likely to need support later or if nothing else less support.
