I stand behind what I said. Fact is I have no idea if what he told me is true or not but I know what I was told and who said it to me. You don't want to believe it that's fine. Fdd could have, taking his own advice on being more articulate and not insulting another member, said I think that's nonsense. That would have been fine but he didn't. He insulted me AND insinuated that I was making the friend up. What do possible motive would I have to make that shit up? How do I benefit from making that statement?

Now ask yourself this, even if what I was told IS false, who is it hurting? Did I put anyone who might believe it at risk? Not one single person, yet others on this board post dangerous misinformation and
and absolute BULLSHIT that could get people busted but who does fdd decide he wants to insult? Me...someone who's been here all of about 10 minutes and I think if you take a look at some of my posts you'd see that I've made it quite clear in that 10 minutes that I'm passionate about getting pot legalized, passionate about trying to pass on accurate information or advice that is going to keep people safe.

I'm pissed, I don't deserve to be treated like this. Not that it matters to me either way but I had no idea fdd was a mod. Nowhere does it say mod in his posts. But knowing that now just pisses me off more. If he wants respect then he should take his own advice and show some.

I didn't say it was part of training I said I was told by a friend who is a cop it was part of training. Believe it or not I don't care but the fact is there is REAL bullshit being posted on this site that can get people hurt and I'm not the one posting it.

I've actually tried my best to post accurate and helpful information yet you saw fit to single ME out on a comment that, true or not, hurts nobody.

I'm not trying to fight with you or anyone else here fdd, I'm not, but I feel like you have a bit of a hard on for me after that Nirvana thread.

I'm 40something and been in the game since I was 16 so I have as many years as you if not more. I think my posts speak for themselves and I feel like I deserve a little more respect than either you or your "cop friend" are full of shit.

My friend got pulled over with 0.25 grams and got a ticket for "open container of alcohol." I think it's cause the prick ass cop smoked the weed. For this reason alone, I never cry when I hear about a cop who gets killed in the line of duty. I really, REALLY have NO sympathy for these overly-aggressive shit-talking pussies-with-guns who think they can lie to you, treat you like shit, and make you feel like less than a person just because they are the last authority before a court of law.

A good medical marijuana-growing friend of mine recently was busted for "manufacturing methamphetamine" when they found his hash-making equipment. I have a feeling that the police knew it was not equipment used for amphetamines, but as the saying goes, "you can beat the charges but you won't beat the ride." It's so true. That's why I have no sympathy for police when I hear they get shot in the face. Sure, it's sad on an individual level, but somewhere down the line the asshole probably deserved it.

wow no thats not even nice. its a sad thing when cops get killed trying to protect people they dont even know. yea there are some bad apples out there but beleive it or not they arnt all assholes. alot of them are actualy out there to protect and serve like they are supose to. I have an uncle that is a cop and he is on of thoes people. and yea i have cop friends that are the asses that will take ur shit but for the most part they are good cops. the bad ones just stick out so it seems like there are more of them. I actualy would love to be a cop if it wernt for the ones out there making the rest look bad. saying that any cop that gets shot in the line of duty probably deserved it is completely unacceptable in my books.

And don't forget that some of the pressure to make arrests and pot arrests for that matter come from higher up. I'm not trying to excuse a bad cops actions by any means but like cotton said they are not all bad. I bet there are plenty of cops that would rather let minor infractions of laws they don't agree with go but with things like dash cams and "quotas" they are put in a tough spot.

Then you have some that drank the cool aid. Barry Cooper is one that said he believed what they told him until he realized he was wrecking lives by kicking in otherwise upstanding, law abiding pot smokers doors not pot.

lucky you and all growers in your city. but i bet when they get more money there will be a shit ton of busts because ppl see that they are takin them off the streets so there goin to just go crazy and when they do come back there comin back strong with alot of busts.

I have a step-brother who is an aspiring police officer. He is a power-tripping piece of shit dickface, with an abusive personality complex, and I hope he is the first one to get shot up when he's out there "defending" my liberties and safety.

I don't know where you are from, but in my town, the police will chase down a 16 year-old for having a book of matches. I have been continuously harassed by police since I was a teenager in this area--and it is always the same police officers. They have asked me if I was a "faggot." They have searched me without due cause. They have tried to humiliate me for "failing to signal 100 feet" when making a turn. It is always the same police officers, and I know them by name. The next time a police man gets killed in my area, I hope I personally knew him at one point, because I have never met a good cop in my life.

I have no sympathy for police officers who get shot. They go around every day, talking like big men, saying "oh I have to put my life on the line every day". Fuck you officer, and while you're at it, don't talk down to me, don't pull your gun out on me for a fucking simple traffic violation. A police officer in my area can make 80k per year easily, so I really don't have sympathy when their 2-year education at community college makes them 80k per year to "defend" me.

The police are the largest armed gang on the street. They operate like a gang. They are a "brotherhood", much like...*gasp* A GANG. The only difference between them and a gang, is that they have access to radios and sophisticated equipment that would make some other "non-legitimate" gangs stand out.
