Pistil help!!!

My little plant is almost 6th week old now, she is little because of stress and improper environement she lived in before i put her in my room... anyway she is showing pistil and she is on 24hours of light cycle. My question is; Is it normal to see pistil on 24 hours light cycle or this is a kind of auto-flowering?

I was thinking to keep her as mother and take cuttings every month or so...

Any advice? thanks.

yeah they're pre-flowers... this is how i sex most of my plants... another thing is to clone as soon as you can say 4th 5th week so when the parent plant shows sex you already have four or five more plants ready to go if the parent is female...

Totally normal for a plant to show sex at this time even though it's on a 24/7 light schedule. Like dogglet was sayin, those are preflowers, and give away the plants sex without having to force them into flowering. They'll usually show between 4-7 weeks into vegging.

Ok but this does not mean the 'parent' is going to auto-flower? If i keep it 24/0, can i make mother for cuttings?

Thanks.

no it will not bud under 24/0 light... if it isn't a auto-flower strain... if it is however no matter what light cycle it will bud.

i prefer to keep the original plant from seed for a mother myself... she is easy to tend to too... just feed every third watering or so.... and she will stay healthy for as long as you want her.

on a side note... i'm a guy who swore that 24/7 light was the better, then i switched to 18/6 and i noticed dramatic growth in my veg room right away

The guy at the hydro shop told me 24/7 might speed up the growth a bit.. but the plant does not have the dark she needs. So i switched my grow room to 18/6. Thanks.
