What do you consider to be the "Holy Grail" of plants?

i do remember that thread, it was the comparison one right?? i thought you were saying that it actually makes the chemicals more potent...
There is a comparison thread and a How to Water Cure thread. Both have good info but it can take some reading through the posts.

And no I wasn't saying it made the actual chemicals more potent, for all I know it was mentioned in later posts by other members however.

I doubt its to far off the real deal but i would like to hear from someone that's actually grown it though in a real world environmentbongsmilie

i havent heard anything good about watercuring... much less that it "intensifies it":confused:

*edit* sorry forgot to contribute....
i would like to grow/smoke all of the original landrace strains.... for example, that 2,000yr old stash recently found.... cant help but wonder how much different, or the same, it would be to today's strains
Hell to the fuckin ya 2700 year old dank still green LOL

I can only say from experiece. I've grown Ice, WW, Thai and Afghani. All of them got Me BLAZED!

The Thai was very unique. It produced a super uplifting head stone, but it takes about 4 more weeks to reach maturity than the average (indica based) plant.

Reguardless of whatever seeds You buy, the buds will depend substantially on Your horticulture skills. And whatever You grow, I would give it at least two more weeks to flower than what the breeder says (unless Your growing hydroponically). So if they say 8 weeks of 12/12, I'd let it grow for 10 weeks to reach max crystal production.

And if You want to get really high than stop smoking for a month or so and then blaze the finest.

Get good seeds, have a green thumb and grow potent Herbs. Thats how it works.

Ok, who's the coward that anonymously neg repped me for my true statement?

By it's very nature, water curing intensifies the CONCENTRATION of non water soluble compounds in the material. Last I checked, at the temperatures water curing takes place at, no trichomes are burst and the resin gla FS stay mstly intact. However, some of the chlorophyll and other pigments, as well as residual chemical salts are washed out. Once dried, the CONCENTRATION of non water soluble compounds will be higher than the material contained prior. Hence, intensification. If I am wrong, argue with your point and prove it. Don't net rep me. Now go plus rep me and make it even since you are the one in error. And leave your name when you neg rep people. Anythng less makes you loo like a wimp.

My Holy Grail strain would be the sativa dominant MTF I got in the Portland, Oregon area back in the early 80's. Amazing gear.:eyesmoke:

wasnt me bro...... i dont know for sure if you are wrong, but i will debate my logic on it....

from what i understand, there is only a slight difference in mass/weight between water cured and traditional cure... with water cure, you arent changing anything about the plant, jsut the resulting vegetative mass.... couldnt the same be said for overdried buds?? seems to be doing effectively the same thing to me.... your turn:blsmoke:

It is the ratio of cannibinoids to non-cannibinoids in the smoke that causes the more intense feeling per hit. The same can be said of quality dry hash vs. bubble made from the same source material. No chemical change to the cannoninoids, but it FEELS more intense. Properly water cured pot can lose an additional 20-30% mass over traditional dry cured pot. This CAN translate into as much as 40-50% more cannoninoids ingested per hit smoked or gram eaten.

MY OPINION: White Widow = Overrated.

Is a good strain no doubt, but too overrated, not the Holy Grail in my opinion.

Still sticking to the Haze / Sativa dominant strains, they tend to be the strains most people have never tried, especially all the young growers these days who just want the quick flowering and large yield of the Indica hybrids, Indica stone is good if you get pains and need help sleeping, but if you want to get HIGH and have a good time, needs to be a Sativa dominant Haze!

Once agian, my opinion. Cheers!
