how many litres would you reccomend for a homemade hydro flood drain system resovoir to hold and use at any one time.

cos the one i have atm is massive, and i aint happy about how much water i have to use to fill it up to get the water level above my pump.

i dont really like the though of all that water in a plastic tank in a bedroom ( above a kitchen )

i can use a diff res that i have come across,

but what would the reccomended capacity minimum be,

the flood tray can hold 12- 15 plants

It's just so rare that anyone would use 2 different units of measure for the same thing. 8 gallons to flood your tray and whatever extra you need to keep the pump submerged, just depends on res dimensions. If you fill the tray with medium, the needed volume would be considerably less.

Oh yer, i forgot about that, lol,

they rockwool takes up a percentage of the flood tray space,

okay, well im going to rebuild this goddam hydro , hopefully so it works an runs smoother,

wish me luck, if anyone has 2cents they want to add to help me along, feel free
