drying them in your growrooms a good idea but make sure they are hung in a dark drying box or somthing and no light getting inn + have a fan put on them doesent have to be on constant just diffrent stages of the day to stop them mold then when dry store them and let them cure the freezer is most people fav. choice

If you're going for least amount of smell, water cure.

The buds will have no smell or taste(hardly any) once finished, but will pack the punch.

To water cure, simple trim your freshly harvested buds, then place them all in a cooler(preferably one with a drain at the bottom). Fill the cooler with water, and place something over the buds(most use a block of wood or a ceramic plate) to assure none are floating above the water, they will not need weights on top after the 3-4 day. Change the water once every 24 hours for one week. After the seventh day, hang to dry with a fan blowing. As soon as they're dry they're ready for consumption.

There is no smell whatso ever with this method of curing, except for when you change the water the first 3-4 days.

The way this works is that THC is not water soluble, every thing else(clhorophyl, starches, etc...) is. So once cured and dried, the buds have nearly nothing but THC left. The smoke is extremely smooth when compared to air cured buds. Also, THC does not break down in water like it does in air and light, so more is retained.

P.S.- It's critical that the buds are no exposed to air except for when changing the water. Mold will develop if so. Also, leave the cooler ajar, not covered.

Any questions feel free to ask.

Do the same thing then only out doors and no electrics
thats the thing i cant at my place, my parents will find it, (i am 19 btw) and i dont have anywhere to do it, could i do the water curing method out doors say if the cooler id do it in was in a small puptent in the shade? because id have no problem drying them in a dehydrator at home because no one is ever home on the weekends

Not a fan of the water curing method myself, i dont see the point in it what so ever.

Imo the best way is to get a cardboard box, run string across the top opening to hang your bud from and then seal it up when its hung, it will be nice and dark in there and wont have the trichomes destroyed by any light. 14 days later smoke on. You could further cure it by putting it in glass jars and sealing it but letting some air in every so often to prevent bud mold.

If you can setup a box, made out of whatever, with a small fan for ventilation, then all you need is a small carbon filter. Hydro shops sell them for as cheap as $20 USD. The small ones, like 100 CFM. A 465 CFM is like $200. You could also build one if you have the time and $(a small one is pretty cheap to build)

If you can do an air cure, it's best. But if stealth, or time is an issue, the water cure is better.

P.S.- And yes, you can have the cooler outside, but best with less light since THC breaks down in it, so in the most shade possible.

M8 just make your self a good drying box very easy to do like nongreen says take it to your grow spot hang all your buds in it you will need waterproof sheeting to cover your box with and put bricks on the edge to keep it down then throw a load of leafs and what ever over your box blend it in a bit should keep your buds sweet and u wont get kicked out lol :joint:
