Glad to hear things went well after your taproot broke, I just said fuck messing with it and popped a new seed, 3 days in its already got the second set of leaves forming.Mine started out kind of slow too. They are three weeks in now and I'm getting ready to top them. I think I'm going to try to use the topped part of my girls and re-root them using the rooting powder. I hope it works like a charm the way it did when I broke the taproots on two of my seedlings. I'll keep you posted and will get some pics either this evening or later on this week.
Thanks man,
I don't think that's possible with these labels, they pop right into the domes and seem to stay there. They are wider than the plastic pod will allow for it to touch the sponge, plus my grow sponges are wet, I don't want my plants soaking up glue.
Unless you are talking about gluing the labels to the plastic pod around the rim.
Might try that if I have some glue around here somewhere.
I also moved my light, so its no longer 2" from my plant, because I have two plants I need to get the light distributed to now , so its pointed ~45 deg. to the inside.
Thanks guys, this new plant is taking off like no other.. Height wise it has already passed up my other plant.
I now have my CFL bulb pointed directly on the newer (fast) plant.
The first plant has a thicker stalk, but its about the same height. I am hoping that I can equalize the growth here if I try to stunt the height growth on the new one and make the OG plant stretch to catch up.
Do you think this is a bad idea?
I really don't think that first plant is going to be a female, I just have this feeling.
Pics later tonight.
So here they are..
I rotated #4 because it started leaning to the light so now its going to try to lean the other way
Will have some real leaves by the end of the weekend hopefully..
