Well I am not going to vote, because there isn't anything better or worse about either. It all depends on how you plan on full growing the plants, I'd say if you are going hydroponically, Use RockWool. If you are using Soil, use the peat pellets.

i use soil so i prefer the pellets. i actually use peat pots also. no transplanting involved just putting it in a bigger pot when needed with more soil.

jiffy for starting seeds and thats it.. for me .. i dont think jiffy pellets really have a place in hydroponics.. they just dont hold up.. but i think most soil farmers would prefer jiffy pellets and the hydro farmers love their rockwool...
