help 3 weeks in flowering but buds seem tiny

hi all maybe getting impatient but i flipped them into flowering 3 weeks today and i just assumed i would see bigger buds

does the bud suddenly have a growth spurt as i believe the conditions are 90% ideal and plants are healthy using canna flores and boost at moment and will give pk 13/14 in week 5-6 and so on

heres some pics for you to look on?

those pics kinda suck, so its hard to tell. but i dont really see any buds. are you sure your dark period is dark? i at least have popcorn nugs at 3wks.

WELL. you start the clock not when you flip the lights, but when sex first starts to show.
so, allowing a week to show sex, you have been flowering for 2 weeks.
just be patient and watch.

Agreed, BAD INFO. It's measured from the time you flip the lights. Did you notice any stretching and insane growth? I can't see much from the pictures, but from the sound of it, you might not have your room dark enough. Gotta seal out all light sources.

my light is 600 hps temp is a steady 30 celcius i know its slightly to high but i have as many fans as i can get in my space one blowing at light and one on plants

using canna nutes

they are both female 100% they have lots of white hairs the pics dont do them justice crap camera phone try and get better pics tommorow

here's a pic of my smaller plant after 19 days of flowering.

what's your lights??? your plants will beef up in size and have a growth spur.... after that is done they will start to really produce buds.... it also depends on the strain you have.... Salvia or Indica??

how far are your lights???


I had my cabinet on my last grow around 30C unless your using a CO2 Generator it's too high..... also where are you meassuring your temp from?

you need to get an accurate reading from the top of the canopy.... I'd say try and lower your tem to around 25c or maybe a bit lower, @ 30C my last plants
pretty much stopped growing at all and the buds didn't get as big as they could have... I was even buying dry ice every weekend to get some CO2 in there....

they are concealed in a closet so its possible the bedroom incandescent light is penetrating through the door gaps which are very very small! As i also have black paper covering the doors aswell????

the only light i can see coming out of the closet is from the bottom

I think this pic is about 2 1/2 weeks from flip. Do they look similar? It is kinda hard to tell from your pics. Matbe its a slow developing strain. Make sure its gets total darkness. No peaking during the dark cycle.

one is big bang and one is arjan strawberry haze, i will definetly make sure there is no light leaks even possible as of from today.

this is my first grow and my camera phone is crap, will try and get better pics up tomorrow but my buds definetly lookn the same size as yours.

but i just assumed they should be triple the sizr by now.

maybe just getting impatient

must be light leak got to be i have a 600 hps over mine so my bud should be bigger i know now because your bud is bigger than mine an you are using enviros

try taking a pic right with the 600 turned off, theyll turn out better camera phone or not. thats where those horizintal lines come from

the flowering process actually starts with the very first 12 hour dark cycle. during lights off certain hormones build up within the plant, when those hormones reach a certain level(after 12 hrs) the plants energys are shifted from growth to reproduction. just because theres no visible flowers doesnt mean the process hasnt started.
