I think you're right about the potential for loss of potency for waiting too long so I guess an 80amber/20milky will be a safer bet. I just want my nugs to look like fdd's when done Me thinks fdd likes the couchy high by the looks of this bud!

the bud will start to look dry, and crusty, sometimes oily that couchy shit is b.s. a four inch bud may weigh, .3 grams at 8 weeks where it will weigh 3g at 13 weeks, a difference of $50 per cola is a big diff to me, then I can blaze as much as I want, and being a couch potato is my perogative.

p.s. notice how the pistils recede, and the leaves curl up, usually when you notice that the hairs are receding, then cut back fert, and switch to honey or molasses to bulk up, then we flush, hang and enjoy.

typical hang upside down till slightly crisp on outside ....then i remove budz from main stem and place into a paper bag for 3 more days, then off to the jars!

dude, thats completely wrong man! ur good to the point they are crisped outside. then u have to put them in nylon bag for about 12 hours. this will cause the buds to dry out from the inside... after 12 hours in the bag the buds are wet again coz the moisture in them is getin out...they are "sweating" . after this, hang them again and when they are crispy again, do the same shit wit the nylon bag but this time for 6 hours, next time fo 3....and they should be dryed out evenly....rememba evenly lol after the buds are dryed u may proceed wit the jars. Peace! p.s. propper cureing takes atleast 3 weeks lol

i have 9- seedlings right now....want to obtain two MOMS for practice cloning....right now i have 2-150 watt hps econo lights and a 400watt halide.......what i WANT is

take clones from moms and throw them in a duo 150watter scrog....then take the other clones and veg them into a scrog with the halide OR SOG with the halide......so many options! Yours will pack on more weight...watch for the swells!

yeah man i agree.....to each his own, i am very happy with what i smoke....i DID leave information out of my post which would assume i am COMPLETELY wrong BUT oh well IDK this was not about curring any ways...the way i did cure, i had no bad taste, burned right up, and smelled fantastic

I have to agree with you guys on the drying issue. Some people go to ridiculous lengths to sweat / dry their buds....this is my first time coming up but if all that is just for "flavor", I smoke to get high....flavor to me is a distant distant 2nd and to be honest, I don't remember smoking any weed that got me stupid high & tasted poopy soo....perhaps the extensive curing is for the experienced connoisseur I don't want harsh smoke but it already smells bomb so i'm sure it'll taste good....don't feel like I need 'em in jars for 3 weeks just to have smokeable nugs but I will cure 1/2 the batch for 2-3 weeks & compare I hear potency goes up as well due to ongoing chemical reactions but we'll c if it's noticeable

I was told by an experienced grower that two things degrade THC; Light and Oxygen. Which makes sense. Also he said that heat will change the chemical effect of the drug, he said for really opiate like high keep the weed at 115 degrees for about 2 hours, and you will get the downer effect. oxidization is what causes weed to go brown, so it should always be kept in glass, at a cool temperature and in a container that light cant reach or in the dark. You harvest after dark hang in the dark and store in the DARK. Imho it is all about the % of thc and the taste all the rest is just BloWING Smoke.
