i think i got garden hose adapter ill have pics in morning i hope.

got teflon tape,

i got the stinkbud mister setup without the sqaure fence posting right now, just the circle 4" pvc round tubing ya know ya ya i know smaller roots w/e i dont care im growing tomato's just trying to get my feet wet with this system sinse i could build from home depot :)?

anyways mister setup is 47 inchs long i got like 10 360 misters then like 6 180s , the pvc tubing is cut is half with a cap on both of 1 ends being 58" long little bit longer,

1) put 2 180s instead of a 360 i dont have?.

2) make 1/2 PVC 47" mister setup longer closer to 58 inch reaching to end on round pvc , it looks a lil silly not going to end but i could hacksaw off a few more inchs like 3-4 and it will fit in stand better and almost go to end, or i could exstend it ,

i only got so many misters right so what should i do??

3) i do have a ruffneck container but not a 18 gal!!?!?!
could i use anything? or would it be better to be smaller?

4) 2 inch hole saw how many holes? i guess it goes by how many misters.

few things i need to do drill holes for misters and round tubing to hold plastic cups/foam?
and seal it all up with the pvc cement i got:)
need a rez
and im good to go!

thanks for help and these last few questions folks almost done i will be happy once i get some meters and tomato's :)

I would get the extra 360* and while you were picking up that one sprayer get extras just in case. The more actual holes in your tube for sprayers reduces the psi in the 1/2" tubing, it does not care if the sprayer is 360* or 180*.

2) make 1/2 PVC 47" mister setup longer closer to 58 inch reaching to end on round pvc , it looks a lil silly not going to end but i could hacksaw off a few more inchs like 3-4 and it will fit in stand better and almost go to end, or i could exstend it ,

I would IMO determine my light foot print and base the length of your chambers off the amount of primary light not secondary light.

I have a massive reservoir, the larger the less frequent the change. I just monitor PPMs closely. A small reservoir is a danger for when your plants fill your tube water will drain slower causing problems. Your res will empty and your pump does not like to pump air.

4) 2 inch hole saw how many holes? i guess it goes by how many misters.
Here is my advice, if your really growing tomatoes then you need to space your holes about a foot between each other and a 2" net cup is going to kill the plant before it comes to fruition unless your growing a very specific strain of cherry tomatoes and even then you are cutting it close on weather or not the plant will produce ripe fruit. (Tomatoes are very viney and like to "crawl".)

If you are growing marijauna then space them about 6" to 8" apart. I would use 3" or 4" net cups. (Both will be hard/impossible to fit proper in a 4" tube.)

Either way your going to learn eventually that root growth is everything for the plant. The green leaves are only as healthy as the white roots below the neoprene.

You can always end up using this for a veg or clone setup later. I'm just not sure how a mature plant will fit in the small area.

If you plan to go ahead and build this system I would put your water supply lines outside of your growing chambers and plumb the sprayers into the top/side of your 4" growing chamber. This will give your plants more room to develop a healthy root structure. In soil a plant above ground is just as big as a plant below ground.

Hope this helps!

pissed off

tried veg system, sealed it up, (cloner stink version)

i had blue 180 misters and black 360's the blue ones was shooting out a few lines of water each thing(working)

but the black 1's wasnt in there good enough it was the only drill bit i had

they keep turning when i try to tighten them obviously shoulda used a smaller drill bit, pisses me off tho

but i tried this one so i could do it perfect with harvest setup!

any idea's on what i should do? i dont know what kind of misters these are im gonna take a pic soon!..

I would screw it in and then add the sealant.

To do it right I recommend a new length of pole for longevity.

Measure twice, cut once as the old adage goes.

screw it in most of the way then add a few drops of silicone?.

you mean buy another 1/2 pvc
and try again?

Sounds right, I cannot remember if I used 11/16 or 1/8... ???

Take a small sample and practice on it first, then do the rest after you got your technique down.

Yes, and I don't think I can measure the hole your talking about. it just sprays a whole stream/mist kinda.
does it mist at all?

the blue ones spray a few lines of water in a few directions but thats about it, just lookin for some insight gonna give it a go again tomorrow.

The only way to get a true mist is to get a higher pressure water pump, the streams work good though. All of my plumbing has good spray.:leaf:
