so, I made an introductory post in the appropriate forum.

Chiceh said there's no soliciting or advertising here ( Ibeg to differ, theres banners everywhere ). I'm assuming for my signature. My signature had links to 2 of my sites.. That's now gone.

My introductory thread is locked, for what fucking reason? My sig was removed wasn't that enough?

-The maximum number of lines in a signature is 3.
-The maximum number of links or URLs in a signature is 4.
-No images allowed in signatures except for a maximum of 2 ROLLITUP smilies.
-Signature text should comply with our regular posting rules. No all-caps, no alternating caps, etc..
-Signature links can not be bought and sold! You may include only links to your own sites.
-Signature text that is too long or obtrusive will be removed. This would include overly creative use of punctuation, color, etc. which make the signature too flashy.
-Signatures with just your username will be removed. Usernames are on the top of every post, so there's no need to have it in your signature too.
-No affiliate links!

Did you see the information on advertising and such? I believe the links on your sig may need to be internal... I could be wrong.

Nice way to make an entrance dude. Posting links to adult content (which your site has) is against the rules, and using Rollitup to gain traffic to your own site is also against the rules. I think she was too nice to you :D

@ posting a site in my sig to get traffic: ugh.. posting your URL in your sig(forum,email etc) is a commonly accepted internet practice (research netiquette). I was actually participating in this site and planned on doing it a lot more, which believe it or not adds value to this site..

I'd pull that link stat. just because the site is for adults only doesn't mean we're free to post whatever we like. We keep it clean here at RIU, it's a very different forum compared to most out there.

Play along with the rules and all will be fine.
