A postcard to all my friends.

I spent about 10 years living up in Northern Cali. I bet FDD has heard of
the Kenwood pillow fights. I used to love throwing a raft in the Russian River
just after Guernville(sp) and floating all the way out to the sea at Jenner.
I lived in Santa Rosa, Healdsburg,And Petaluma for a time.Used to go to Golden
Gate park in SF on 4-20 every year.I also miss that drive out to Bodega..
and that little town where they filmed " the birds ".

I love it up there. But I also love it down here...hmmm

I have a feeling I will wind up back up there again at some point. Such an
awesome place to live and raise a family. If I could just find a nice house for
a reasonable price...Maybe I will wind up being one of those crazy old guys
living like a hermit in Monte Rio with a suitcase full of money buried in the yard...
speaking of which I just remembered that little town called Duncan's
Mills- looked like a town out of the old west....That's it I am moving back up there!!!
( grabs plants and runs out the door )

At Yellowstone they said there is like 5 earthquakes a day or something... just little ones so that is why all the geysers are going off all the time, I never felt one though :|

Here are some pics from the Oregon coast. By far the best stuff I have seen around this country so far.. just beautiful.

here are some of the lovely beaches and rainforest about 1 hour south of queensland where i live.

Wow that is just lush and green, nice sandy beaches. I can't wait to go see some foreign lands.. going to Amsterdam in late October but other than that I pretty much have only seen North America. I need to buy a sailboat or something and really take a trip :)

it sure is nice part of the world, but lush and clean places like this are becomming an execption, we are also the driest contenient on earth, were moslty deserts and severly drought affected areas.
its a good thing i live on the coast.

There's a lot of beautiful land in the Northwest, like Oregon and Washington that has that lush green forest.. It's finding a sunny day to accompany it that is rare.

balloon classic this morning. got the kid up at 6:30 am to go watch them take off. it was to foggy and then i had to take the kitties to the vet so we never saw them leave. they may have later. they are flying again tomorrow so i will see if it happens then. my camera got moisture in it and it's all spotty. it better go away.
