any1 know about mp5 players?

ive just read they have wifi so u can download tracks without a PC or share music/ pics etc.

do ALL mp5 players have a built in internet browser like firefox or even internet explorer? so i can find a wifi access point, put the password in and i can then browser the internet like any other device? any one know what thats like, in terms of connectivity? my N95 (smart phone) has wifi but seems to dissconnect me alot because it opens every link u click on in a new window and then the memory gets full and closes the program.

also, i see some have bluetooth. would taking a picture on my phone and blue-toothing it to an mp5 player be as simple as it sounds?

can any, if not all these mp5 players multitask. what i mean by that is, if i am playing an mp3, can i go out of that and go look at my pictures with the mp3 / playlist still going without distrubtion?

You're talkin about the new zune or something like that? I don't think they have a browser. Best bet is to get an Ipod.

i will never buy an ipod.

no i was taking a look at the creative ZEN. they are the best players around and have been since i can remember. it beats ipods on everything, hands down.

i've never heard of ZEN's but they look pretty cool. why are they better than ipods? ipodtouch is amazing, it has a web browser. whats the big deal?

they are built better, they have better sound quality, better features, better screen, more user friendly and above all, cheaper. read some reviews on Creatives players, they are good.

i had a Creative Zen No Mad jukebox 30gb. this was when the ipod was released and i have to say, it was much better than the ipod in my opionion.

if im buying an mp5 player then i want to know how they work. ive not seen any shops with these.

that is a heckler & koch mp5. i mean mp5 player. that plays videos,pictures, voice recorder,FM radio, bluetooth and other gadgets.

i dont. its just my opinion. i just dont see why people like ipods... u have to use itunes (ive heard its a problem), heard of batteries not charging and other things. they are over priced and the quality isnt that good. a Zen has better audio quality and screen quality. also the ear buds u get with a Zen are like £30, the ones u get with an ipod are more like £3

i was looking in to getting an mp3 player, but if you speak only opinion, ill keep searching. the new ipods have wifi, do the zens?

yes. i mentioned that in my first post. i wanted to know if the wifi was just for purchasing tracks/albums and sharing, or does it actually have an internet browser of some sort.

Creative Zen Vision M 30gb fully used and love it! Apple Ipod sucks the big one. They are super proprietary and are binded to itunes and other apple crap. The Zen is drag and drop and can handle all sorts of formats! Currently have over 2000 flac songs and the rest mp3. The Zen is the best hands down. The parts used to make them are top notch and tough! The screen and color are phenominal. Here is mine!




On the MP/5 Player.. Wait until the bigger companies hop on the wagon and start production. For now they are built cheap and break fast.

my girl friend used to have one of those, and i had the older model. they are good.

Of course the ipods have wifi. They need that to get the product off the shelves. They are making the players more locked into proprietary software. The new ipods are over priced and over rated! They have issues with locking up and there are no PERSONAL CUSTOMIZATIONS! The zen is drag and drop to all my media so far! I have tons of media. Flac,mp3,divx and so on. The zen eats all of it right up on a simple drag/drop. No converting and ready to play!

The ipod is a simple minded product. All style and no substance. Remember they were made for the masses and not the minority of people who want a diverse player. Hell, I can even put linux on my zen! I can change the skins to my own liking and even make skins! Sadly it's the masses of simple mindeds that win, even some of the more diverse users tend to get sucked in.

i thought you could put custom themes and stuff on the ipods? i know they dont play flac and divx. i think im getting mixed ideas here.
