Strange thing last night, while looking at magazines last night, I notice High Times magazine. I picked it up and look inside and placed it back on the stand. I later purchased an electronic magazine, but while stand at the check out, someone tapped me lightly while passing by. The guy next to me was purchasing High Times. We made brief eye contact.
Problem: There is a desire to know other growers, but this hobbly is one you cannot, I repeat, cannot meet to discuss methods and testing like a "Sunday Go To Meeting" event. Remember this, if one is arrested, one will make deals to get freedom.
I learned a lesson here too. You never know who is watching you. While browsing, someone saw me pick up a magazine. As a rule, stay away from any public active that will draw attention to this hobby. Luckly I was not driving my car, but I don't want an innocent friend to get into trouble.
It is hard to know all the rules, but be as secret as possible about this hobby.

just cuz ur buying high times doesnt mean u grow, my friends gf buys high times just to look at it like u would any other magazine and she doesnt grow. not even gardening items would give it away especially the community i live in cuz most of my neighbors are old so they wont really think anything of pots and a bag of dirt going into the house. houses have been raided in here but one was for cocaine-some chick was pushing white like crazy here driving brand new benz's and shit but she got caught with a bunch of bricks. another house got raided for no reason what so ever due to someone talking shit giving wrong info. it was some innocent old guy that someone had said he was growing weed and when the DEA got there he laughed and invited them in for a look and they found nothing. some neighbors are nosey but half the people here blaze lol i love it.

Finally gettin my grow set up w/ some northern lights, power skunk, and bagseed, hopin to have some bud ready by 4/20!
Also got some shrooms on the way... Can't wait til harvest!

I went to a car show in my home town the other day that the po-po's were also participating in/sponsoring and they had they're helo's out for display/rides. Sure enough, right on the front, there was there FLIR (forward looking infared) cameras. After I pointed it out and confirmed with the cop that that's what it was; I was thinking it, but someone else beat me to the punch and asked, "So you use those to see people growing pot in there houses?"
The cops paused and then gave a very, 'this is what I've been told to say and I've repeated it a thousand times' kinda answer: he said, "No, we must visualy confirm the grow before we can use the cameras."
BS! They do it all the time. So to answer your question; Hell yes, they do it all the time. But don't vent the heat into your attic and keep it small and from my understanding, you've got nothing to worry about,... until you can't stand it and stare telling all your friends that is.

Just wanted to say hello from TALLAHASSEE.
I started germinating some VENUS & SNOW WHITE seeds yesterday and getting ready for my 1st Stealth Hydro BP grow w/ 400hps.
Fingers crossed.
