Does anyone know where I can buy a rubber stamp of a cannabis leaf ?
I am going to put a GREEN cannabis stamp on EVERY bill (currency) that I handle , I encourage everyone to do this, it will be encouraging to see how many pop up. Maybe have different colors for each state?
People handle money every day, well, less so in this economy,it would be a great visual aid, to show the country how big the "RE-LEGALIZATION" movement is.:-P:?::weed:

You can just get one made for pretty cheap.. I have a couple stamps with sayings against the Federal Reserve that we mark all our money with, paid like 10-15 dollars including shipping to get a personally designed stamp.. Look around on google.. search personalized design stamp.. or some phrase like that.. you should be able to find what you need. Good luck man.

Here's to ya:
WOODSTOCK, New York -- A couple who habitually brand their one dollar bills with a marijuana leaf and the quote: "I grew hemp," were recently contacted by Woodstock police acting on behalf of the Secret Service. Joy Beckerman and James Horn, owners of the Heaven On Earth Hemp Store, report that the police came to them with Xerox copies of stamped dollar bills and a written warning from the secret service specifying that the practice of defacing United States currency was a federal crime. Although Horn admits that the local officers were laid back about the whole issue, he claims that the notice stated that the U.S. Attorney General would be contacted and charges would be pressed if the couple didn't immediately stop the stamping.
While Horn fully admits to stamping many of his dollar bills with the pro-hemp message, he is alarmed that the federal government seems to be targeting him alone. Since Heaven On Earth sells the "I grew hemp" stampers, the couple argues that the government has no way of proving that the bills in question were defaced by them.
Horn says that he will continue to both sell stampers and stamp some of his one dollar bills despite the warning. The couple see their action as a way of informing the community of hemp's industrial uses and its historical background as an integral American crop.

LOL.. holy crap! .. I am not surprised tho..

They can get bent, lol, do you know how many dollars I've gotten with that stupid www.wheresgeorge.com stamp on it? And random numbers written on them..

Just looked up the actual wording of the law itself, and it states that the defacement must have "intent to render such [currency] unfit to be reissued." Sounds like with a good lawyer they might have some problems actually prosecuting someone stamping federal reserve notes simply for a speech act.. Sounds like the government just trying to bully them into stopping, actually prosecuting them would have been a different matter.

Probably green for all the money they rip off from tourists, the Casinos you know. They were sniveling because their profits were down a few million in this downturned economy, but the profits were still in the hundreds of millions. I wonder how many people came here trying to make their house payments? The absolute perfidiousness of gambling.

I usually write "I grew Hemp" by Georges face.

If writing on money is illegal they'd better take the money cops to my local grocery store, they use a marker and write on every bill $20 or over.

Instead of marking money bills how about you mark all bills you pay? Corporations are the ones primarily responsible for Marijuana Prohibition, start taking the fight to them instead of the government. The only reason for the government to get involved is when you start stringing these right-stealing corporate bastards up from the nearest street light.

It's about being anonymous. It's also about wanting lots of people to see it.
Anonymity won't help if you've had any prior criminal history, because your fingerprints are now all over that money and they have records.

But otherwise, yea, you could be fine, unless the cashier looks at the defaced bill and says "We can't accept this." Just depends, some cashiers are smart, some are dumb. One guy had the SS on his ass because a cashier was too stupid and thought $2 bills weren't real.

Fuck anonymity, we need to do it to bring more attention to the issues than just random leaf stamps. I think a leaf with norml.com, mpp.org or stopthedrugwar.org (or about rollitup.org ) would possibly even drive the curious to those sites and hopefully win converts rather than just people thinking that theres some crazie hippie with a rubber stamp doing all of this. :-P
