What do you think 2 1/2 X1 1/2 X 4 1/2 ?

Ok I have learned alot from this site, and hopely my next grow will be better.
So I have made a few changes to the grow cabnet 2 1/2wide 1 1/2deep 41/2tall
Made inside flat white,calked all seams, as for the lights I'm going with CFLs cuz of price.
Ok now the big noob ? How many & whare would you put them & should I vent it I can leave door open in day?? Going to grow maybe 4 plants from seed. Enless I can get clon from 1 of my 3 ladys going now..

For that size cabinet get yourself a 100W actual wattage CFL and that's enough. If it'll fit the aerogarden hood, that is.

I'd put in between 13-17 lights of each for each, but you will have to build your light boards. But, how many plants, too? I'd use that many of those CFL's just because of your noted area size

New space is 4ft long x 4ft tall x 2ft deep. Great now have to rethink lighting. Any good ideas??

better for larger spaces..its a lot of work seting up a ton of cfl's around plants.
a 400w mh or hps or both

I would use the AG if you already have one... There's a whole sub-forum under the Hydro section devoted to growing in them.

Are those actual wattage, or equivalent?HD has 42W=150W, but with what you have you'll be fine though I'd hang each separate so they can be hung exactly where they're needed. Get sockets and wire them on tails, so then you can wire several together per plug.Oh, if you can use Mylar on walls, and white inside hood...Oh S....that reminds me..I've got painting to do on my new hoods.. Check my pics for hood designs if you'd like.

All depends on you. HID is obviously worth the money! I just dont have the $, so I go CFL. My grow is a decent CFL set up

Check out my pics...there are 2 types of sockets there. The single no wire is good for making hoods or long boards..the other for single hangers.
