I've been wanting to get a chameleon. 1 cuz they're awesome and 2 i just started seeing those little tiny flies hanging around my plants. So I thought maybe instead of pestisides or ugly fly paper I'd get a little chameleon to pretty much chill out with our green buddies and eat any bugs that decide to get to close. Any problems with my plan? Or any possible dangers/negative effects for two plants?

those tiny fleas are probibly Fungus Knats. Get rid of them fast before you see thousands more of them in a couple of weeks. There is a type of pesticide made especially for them It's called Go Knats. It's around $15 google it.
chameleons do rock though.

they also like warm temps (see em running all over florida lol). i would just make sure whatever temps you drop to at night wont kill the little lizard. idk if they eat greens or not but it could eat your stuff.. i would recommend a Hot Shot brand 'no pest strip'. they run about 6 bucks, last for about 3 months and take care of most indoor pests..

Those Knats are Relentless. I used an actual Insect Fogger (4 hour fogger) in my grow room, just after harvest. It killed the majority of them, but somehow they found thier way back in for the next grow. You have to stay on top of them untill they are gone. I personally don't mind using Pesticides, since I smoke very little If any of the weed I grow. But if your looking for a better Souliton, try his Hot Shot Brand Strips. I've used them and there alright for the Flyers but don't kill the eggs. A small amound of Dish soap will though. Just make sure you put it on top of the soil and at the opeining at the bottom of your pots (since the Knats enter there also)

If you use soil, they come in in the soil if it is unsterilized. Do not over water. I use ladybugs in the garden, they help a little for the young ones and if you can get them to breed (use some hot ladybug on ladybug porn), their larvae eat the gnat larvae. Of course if you use a pest strip...no ladybugs please!

oh and just so you know a chameleon will eat leaves off your plant as well ;)

you may have one high lizard in there lol.... your better off getting some ladybugs, or if you want something cool go with some venus fly traps... just put them under your plants cause they don't really like direct sunlight much....

haha, that would be awesome, just having a stoned chameleon walking around your plants all day, that would be chameleon heaven! They already move and look slow I wonder what would happen when they start crawling around in some WW.

Good idea for outside, but a lousy idea for in indoor grow. Who wants lady bugs flying all around their house. Unless you like that kind of stuff.

actually I had bought ladybugs two different time getting around 250 each time.... they all make their way outside... some will stay with the plants and actually mate and you will have little babies so it will last your entire grow.

They tend to go towards light.. and end up in the windows... just pop your screen off and your golden.

says aphid killer but they will eat any soft bodied critter...

I only have two plants right now so i think this guy might be like godzilla in there. there are some pretty cool little chameleons that stay small and wont cause much damage. plus they live in the same temp and humidity levels as mj. It would be awesome to come home and find it so faded its hanging upside down by its tail. I'd be upset if it ate my bud but i always love finding new friends to smoke with :joint::bigjoint:

the one in the middle is a ground chameleon they live under
dead leafs and stuff on the ground... but yeah having a smaller breed would be cool
then you wouldn't have to worry about him eating an entire set of leafs... just nibbling on one or two every so often....

Mine move from veg box to flower but have yet to leave the small room these are in. They really do not do much flying. They want to be on plants or soil, not the couch or kitchen table. And yes they are nice for outdoor gardens...but here they do fly...away...alot. If they end up where you do not want them, they do not bite and eagerly crawl on your hand for a free ride back to the garden. If they are attracted to light...(my cfl's yes, they are near them on the tops, but the 400w in 6sqft...when the light comes on they head for the shade!) I hope the only light in your garden is artificial...all windows covered!
