can it take a month of flowering to show signs of sex?

Ive had 2 of my plants into flowering for almost 4 weeks and they still dont wanna show me what they are..

There growing rapidly and are very healthy, i posted pics today in my grow journal for those who wanna see the plants.

From what i can see on the plants is where the pistils or pollen sacks are suppose to be coming out i see what looks like a lil leaf its not a stub or a sphere shape so im thinking they might be females but im not sure because i dont see pistils and no im not mistaking new growth or the stipules as what im seeing

Those are green and bushy man. Looks great. Close up pics would be best to look at though. Mine showed sex almost right away but mine is my first so could be a fluke. I would think they should be huge after a month flowering. Even if it a male it should have big stacks of sacks by now. I'm puzzled.

simple. you have light leaking in during the 12 hours of PURE DARKNESS. so thus its still in veg. stage, think about it. still growing + no signs of flowering. agree?

you hi-jacked this guy's thread. and maybe you shouldve read some more about growing before you potted 2 marijuana plants together in one pot. you couldve stunted growth and potential from deficiencies, roots getting all tangled etc.

They should have shown signs by now. They absolutlely have to have 12 day light and 12 dark to induce flowering, but mine have always shown in a week or a bit more.

you're not retarded. you should accept longer vegging as a good thing, she will be more comfortable flowering when she is mature rather than you forcing her into flower and thus less stress = no hermie to worry about in most cases. worst case scenario that ive witnessed is someone well into flowering and buds blooming everywhere THEN the plants reverted into vegging... looks like someone plucked all the buds off the plant while it was still alive hahaha. you couldve had it much worse... :fire:

well luckily they didnt start flowering then. Now i made sure there getting the full pure darkness they need. There pushing over 2 1/2 feet height wise and about 3 feet in diameter. so i should be expecting a better yield then when i first assumed i put them into flowering
