need help 250w hps vs cfl's

hey whats up my fellow tokers im in a bit of a situation here, i cant seem to decide if i should just keep growing my plants with cfls or get a 250w cooltube hps

i currently have 6 plants in a 3'x3'x1'(HxLxW) grow area 2 are babies only about 2 weeks old and the other 4 are a good month and a half or 2, only about 10-14in tall(no nutrients were added at all)they are all at 12/12 right now with my biggest and best looking plant(named lili) looking more and more like a guy the past week, looks like little pollen sacks are building up everywere and no little hairs the other 3 no signs yet, these are all bagseeds from a really good batch of chronic i picked up

i currently have 6 cfl's in there 2x 30w 6500k 4x 26w 2700k

now i have 2 lowryder seeds that are about 13 days old and are in a different room by there selfs

no what i was planing on doing was hoping to get 1 male and 1 female from the lowryders and make some seeds for my next batch (but if there both girls ill pollinate with the male plant i have and make my own seeds)

now that i got that said i was planing on putting my lowryder plants in that 3'x3'x1' after i finish with the plants i have right now but like i said im not sure if i should keep going cfl or just get a nice 250w cool tube set up with a digital ballast

ive done a lot of reseach around but i would rather get personal opinions and thoughts from fellow growers

also does anybody know if ona gel will be able to get ride of the lowryder 2 smell when they are in flowing

and no i dont have a camera right now to upload pics or anything thats why i tried to explain everything i could

any help, opinions,thoughts or advice will be greatly appreciated

and if theres anything you would like to know to be able to answer any of my questios just let me know

also forgot to mention if you could put a reason why to go with your choice

for example like
250w hps because of the amount of lumens compared to the amount of lumens for a total of 250 watts of cfls you know what i mean


also any body who has good links to websites that i can find a 250w cooltube hps for a good price and that accepts paypal thanks

id go with the 250 , imho it will produce better buds and its much less hassle moving one bulb about instead of all those cfls .
and another reason , ...untill you get a hps , you will be allways wandering in the back of your mind wether you would be better off with a hps .

thats kinda why i started this thread lol cuz i got that thought in the back of my head saying are these little lights gonna give me better results then a big hps

well like i said i got limited space to grow in but the good thing is that if i do decide to go with a 250w hps cool tube ill still have a good 2 feet to grow in and sence im growing pure autoflowers right now im not really stressing the plants getting to tall and getting burned if i do get the hps.....

well maybe i will go with a hps anybody know a good place to find an 250w hps cool tube setup thats not to pricey thanks

250 easy, more penetration, more ecconomical, better quality buds, more lumens/watt, better in every way other than heat.... Supplement also with the CFL's at the side of the plant to ensure good penetration!!

and i was thinking of getting it here but its a bit pricy right now but then again you get what you pay for and from all my researching, lighting is the one thing you shouldn't go cheap on

and i have read the diy cool tube i have the page bookmarked on my computer but im still deciding if i should buy one or build one hehe

but check your local www.craigslist.com for used or new lights.. if your in the usa...

thanks for the link ill check it out and as far as craigslist goes, no luck seem to only find people with 400w and 1000w kits and im not looking for that muck power but like i said thanks for the 250w club link i go check i out right away

i didnt put up an answer because ur original questions was too long and i didnt feel like reading it.

but my reason is that ive grown with both, but the hps gave me thicker and heavier buds in comparison.

amd i think ima go with hps because im growing lowryder and lowryder is allready a plant that doesnt produce much sometimes and with little cfl's im not so sure i will get what im looking for so i might as well get a hps and get a good first batch
