drooping leaves at night?? PICS

we accidently overfertilized our plant and overwatered it a week ago and it suffered from bad nute burn. all of the leaves were really droopy but since this weekend, the leaves are beginning to stand up again after a week.

they developed the claw on the tips of the leaves. also, the leaves only seem to stand up in the morning and the afternoon but at night, all of the leaves are drooping again. more and more leaves are standing up everyday but they always droop at night.

we haven't fertilized in 10 days.
ph of water is about 7.0.

what's wrong with them? we haven't flushed yet. should we wait it out?

the picture shows the leaves in the morning and the claw at the tips possibly from overfertilized.

What is the PH of your runoff water that exits the pots?

What the hell kind of Medium are you using, looks like wood chips almost?

If it were me I would flush with 1 gal Distilled H2o/ Per gal of container. So

we messed up a week ago and fertilized/watered 3 times in 5 days. we haven't fertilized since then, but we don't plan to fertilize again until at least next week. we didn't start with 1/4 strength then work our way up, which we should have done. we wanted to flush it but we were scared that it might mess up the plant even more.

the plant is about 3.5 weeks old. yea we are thinking of transplanting into bigger pots.

will the curling of the tips get better? or is it going to stay like that?

duuuude.... no nutes till the end of week 3!!! it can only get better if u flush the damn plant. flush till the water that is drainin from the holes on the bottom of the pot is clear. dun add fertilizers for atleast 3 waterings. best of luck

good soil is esential for healthy plants. it should be mixed 2:1 wit perlite or gravel (two parts soil, one part perlite) for better drainage. the dead parts can't get any better. u should cut em off of the plants!

I'm with cheetah cut off all yellowing and brown portions....Get some good Pro Mix HP or some Fox Farms Soil and as stated above mix in extra perlite you will be glad you did. It will only get better from here. Also beware of switching soils in the middle of grows this can stress the plant and should be avoided but in this case you must switch soils. I would flush now and once again when you have new containers/soil also.

our plan is to flush them later today and then transplant them tomorrow into better soil and bigger pots. hopefully they will recover and grow better. what kind of soil would you suggest?

our plants are looking a lot healthier since we flushed. we are gonna transplant later today. check out this plant, it seemed like it exploded overnight.

we just transplanted them into bigger pots and into soil that was 2 parts fox farm ocean forest and 1 part perlite. we also watered them with some b1 vitamin solution in 6.5ph water. should we use this b1 vitamin solution again sometime like tomorrow?

when we transplanted them, we discovered that they were definitely rootbound before.

Yea the curling downward of the leaves like that (especially on the entire plant) is usually a good sign that your roots are looking for room to expand and can't. They look great now compared to earlier, that Fox Farms soil should do you excellent and mixing in the perlite is great. I would not use the B1 again for about a week or two.

One question I have for you is how much longer you plan on vegging these plants? From the pics I'm guessing those pots are like 8X8X8? If so they will support new root growth for awhile but again you will have the same problem with leaf droop. If you don't want to transplant again I would suggest flowering soon, especially considering you are using CFL's which penetrate only a couple inches with maximum strength. Even so you may want to think about transplanting into 2.5 gal containers. Have you thought about scrogging these out at all, it would be an excellent option for you considering the entire setup?

well since the transplant, our plants are looking very healthy. the pots are 2 gallons at 10x10x10 and i think the plants are about 4.5 weeks old.

we don't really know how long we want to veg the plants for. my closet is kinda small and we think we are gonna run out of room in there, width-wise. so putting them into flowering early is a good idea.

this is our first time growing so we don't really know much which is why we messed up so bad at first. scrogging seems like a really good idea since we are limited on space. we don't really know how to do it or how it could be effective. could u explain what we should do?
