Thanks DL tommorow im gonna screw some screw hooks into the AG hood and get some fishing line or some string and hang the AG hood. shit is maxed out and the top cola is like a half inch maybe a lil more from the light. Think she might grow to 4 feet in height.
cant wait to see them in a couple weeks!

Thanks hairy i have to do it asap tommorow the top cola is almost touchin the light, I have some screw hooks that i will be puttin on tommorow. Need to pre drill 1/4" holes and screw the hooks in

I would say 1-3 inches sic. And with cfl's u can have them alot closer than other lighting systems. I would keep the light as low as possible until the plants got like 1-2 inches close to the light then i would raise it to the next setting. Right now my top bud is like 1/2 an inch from the light. I dont think the cfl will burn the plants really unless they are touching the bulb. They dont put off that much heat at all

Yas thats true, but they can get stressed from heat, my White Rhino was a lil discolored cause i had a CFL right above it trying to get some light on my Medical Seed, but good lookin out, i cant wait, i get paid tomorrow and will be gettin the rest of my lights to flower

Man, my cfl's get hot. Especially the 100-150's. I couldn't hold them like some guys say they can. From what I've read, the older the cfl's get the less effective and also the less heat they have. All I know is personally I cant hold a new cfl when it's on fully. I notice that if I get them to close (less that 2") they kinda burn the tips of the leaves.

Thats why i said guys i would raise my lamp when the plants got about 2 inches. The 100 watt and 150 watt cfl do get pretty hot but u guys have seen my cfl's in the bak ground and thats how close they are to the plants when they are on. I try to keep them more than 2 inches anything closer will result in burn.
