all things being well.
should they be on 20/4?all things being well.
I have 18 years of facts, my own! So go flog another horse. The guy is asking for advice and that is what I am giving based on lots of experience.Due, maybe you got an underground well or low chlorine in your water. But, there are many facts that state chlorine is bad for cannabis. Just google it.
And???????????Chlorine Deficiency
Wilted chlorotic leaves become bronze in color. Roots become stunted and thickened near tips. Plants with chlorine deficiencies will be pale and suffer wilting.
Chlorine Toxicity
Burning of leaf tip or margins. Bronzing, yellowing and leaf splitting. Reduced leaf size and lower growth rate.
yes... your own expeience ... water differs from state.. to state.. from country to country.. have a little common sence...I have 18 years of facts, my own! So go flog another horse. The guy is asking for advice and that is what I am giving based on lots of experience.
Finally the penny drops, that is my whole point. My advice is based on my experience. Others advice is based on what books say on the whole about this issue. I know a lot of growers and they all use tap water (some use water buts in the garden to collect rain) If you dont try it you dont know, if you do try it and alls well then continue. I can only give advice based on my experience. According to Scientists riding a bicycle to work in the rush hour will give you asthma, it didnt give me it! See where im coming from? It seams that many US growers just presume that you have to use RO water, which is simply not the case.yes... your own expeience ... water differs from state.. to state.. from country to country.. have a little common sence...
Clones can be set at 24 or 18/6 it depends on how fast you want them to grow.damn my thread started and argument. can you argue about what light cycle to put clones on?
Rofl......I go for 24/0 but thats just me!!!!!!damn my thread started and argument. can you argue about what light cycle to put clones on?
oh dear here comes another 'heated debate'. Yes I always advocate the rest issue for plants that are fully rooted and in veg state. For clones though I want to get them established as quickly as possible as they only have limited means of feeding etc, so the quicker I can root them the better.i thought the plants needed rest
u do what? jus in case the water doesnt workRO works, distilled works, tap works, most well water works...the question is, what do you feel like spending?
i use tap water, always have with great results.
the reason people let is set out overnight(some say 48hrs) it to let the chlorine outgas. chlorine in your water wont necesarily harm your plants but it can kill off your micro-beasties.
my clones root under 18/6. i have tried the water method with no success. i use powder and rw cubes witha dome.
