I've got the same question, i just put mine on a 18/6 after 3 weeks of 20/4, and these popped up over night. Hopefully its just a little too early to tell, but i hope this isnt a male (but then again i know my setup works well)

thanks for any help

it is too early to tell...you wont be able to tell untill you put them into flowering...what kind of setup do you have?

dude you dont know what your talking about.... you can sex your plant in veg. done it many times...so wherever you learned that from is wrong I'd take another look at that source. ps all of my plants are sexed before flowering. it only takes a few days for pollen sacks to form and only takes 1.. yes just one male pollen sacks to form and destroy your whole crop so I dont let em into the flower room until they have been sexed :) be careful where you get your info

for the most part you CANNOT determine what the sex is until flowering..sure there will be times you get pre-flowers and if you knew just what you were talking about you would know that one should let the preflowers develop because the preflowers are not always for sure right..so like i said before wait until flowering before you go cutting down what could look like a male preflower and it be wrong...just look at the faq part of this website and you will see that i am right...you can by reading the faq see you can trick one of the branches by using a bag over one of them so they will show male or female...as far as pollen sacks one sack on one plant will cause no harm at first but he is right in that if you let the pollen from that sack get on the females it will mess up the crop...so just wait until you know for sure if it is a male or female before you cut down the plant...also i have found that what looks like a male sack is not always a male sack ALL 6 of my female plants started with "male like sacks" and they were oval but they were NOT males they were FEMALES...and i had someone tell me to cut them down and then i had another person tell me what i am telling you just wait it may work out of the best...so if i would have just jumped at what someone says that dont know what they are talking about i would have missed out on 6 pretty ladies!
