k well thats just stupid and reall disgusting, u do realize all the shit in bong water is really unhealthy right.. and can potentially kill u, it really like poison think of all the carbon monixide and tar goin thru that water just like eatin a fist full of roaches

oh yah and thc doesnt dissolve in water.. so nothin to get u high in there... just really fuckin nasty
That would explain the smell, probably means nutrients are converted into unusable/harmful waste.
