Set audio output in sound card to analog, get cable with mini stereo jack on one end and two male rca's on the other, plug into any line in jacks on back.
It's only an analog stereo and the cables are everywhere, they look like this:

will do, thanks for the advice.
i went a little gung-ho this morning and ripped my old surround sound from the downstairs entertainment system down to throw it onto my computer..not 100% if i have all the proper gear..
the reciever and speakers are all in check, they still work..just not sure about my splicing abilities..didnt get so much as a peep tryin to wire em up..:/
