A few questions..

Alright, I'm a complete newb to growing. I've been lurking websites and reading everything I can for the past few days and I'm definitely interested.

However, there's still a few things I'd like to know and get more specific on.

Alright, to start, I'm planning on growing small scale (1-5 plants). Anyone have any links or suggestions to do this easily with little hassle? I'd prefer hydroponics or soil. I'm willing to pay a slight amount of money for a system or something online, but I'd prefer something I could simply make myself by gathering supplies from local stores.

I'm still a little bit confused on the whole process of simply growing. Anyone have any good guides for growing? I'd like to know every detail to it (including what the best fertilizers to use are, etc.)

Also, what's a good beginner strain to start with that I can get from one of the more popular seed sites? I want something that's not a pain in the ass to grow but produces a decent amount of good weed with a nice high.

Anyways, I'm pretty much just asking for a detailed guide on growing a good strain of easy-growing pot without a lot of trouble.

Please feel free to educate me on anything to do with growing cannabis.

Sorry if all these questions could've been answered by lurking, but I haven't really found what I'm looking for.

It sounds like you just need to start, order seeds, and befoure they arive start building your grow room, I would advise soil, and instead of buyng a sistem invest in HID light/s, no grow room is like another, you just gona have to find what works for you, good luck.

you can order some seeds and get ten free mango seeds. For my first indoor grow I started with Mango and they are pretty easy, and they grow pretty quickly. I'm not as educated as most people on here but my advice would be to remember less is better. Don't over feed, over water, get daring with HID lighting, etc. Also go to the GrowFAQ section and browse.

Dude I just went there and they changed it to Feminized free seeds, you would get females...that's a great deal.

Depends what you like, they usually describe the strain , time it takes to flower and dificulty growing it, personally I would think like an early outdoor indica strain should be a pretty good start, or save your money and use a bag seeds, this way it will be a surprise! I looked at my first grow as sort of dry run, used bag seeds and ended up with some high grade looking stuff so you never know...

Another question, though. From what I understand it's really not that risky shipping to the US. True?

Mango just happens to be the type of strain that krime13 mentioned and five female seeds...that's a good deal for $50
Just don't order it to where you are growing. I don't think anyone has had a problem on here. Just remember don't tell anyone that you are growing...that's how people get caught. Most of these seed banks ship stealth and if they find the seeds you just get a letter...at least that's what seems to be the word around here.

I meant get the lights too close, and don't go out and buy a 1000watt if your growing in a closet. I love HID lighting....

Yes, I've gotten a bunch from them. And they are pretty fast. I'm actually eyeing up the white widow

Alright, I need to just clear up one issue. I guess I haven't read clearly enough.

But, when growing you start off with the seeds and germinate. You plant them, and after that do they just need to grow and start producing buds or do you have to go through the cloning process or what? Sorry, a little bit confused. I just need a brief outline the basic stages of growing as quickly as possible.

Dont worry bout cloning yet,just set up your grow room germinate some seeds plant them and keep them in veg cycle for bout 6-8 weeks (18 hrs)light ,Hope you got more than just a closet, than switch the light scedule to 12-12 sex them, kill the boys and wait till the girls are ready...I think right now your biggest problem is gona be the right light, right soil mix...

A lot of us guys learned from coming to this site. I used to grow outdoors, then I moved, can't grow outdoor, but now I own so I thought to myself...self you need to go indoors. I didn't have a clue but the folks on here got me going and now I'm about a month into my first indoor grow, not doing to bad. Just read and ask questions and someone will help you. Krime has a good point set it up start germinating, veg those plants, then flower determine sex, kill males-hermies. Take your time don't over do it, and ask for help as you need it. If your not sure about something ask first. I can't tell you how many times I see stuff like...I gave my seedlings full strength nutrients and now they are dying, what's going on....lol. Patience and never overdue anything. If you want to start nutes ask first, it will save you time, money and frustration. Good luck and you can always PM me with any questions you might have. I am not the most experienced guy on here but I will help where I can. Keep us up to date, what you're growing, how they are doing etc.
