Which strain do you recommend?

I plan on starting an outdoor grow in a couple of months and was wondering what strains yall recommend?

I was thinking durban poison, but I might get higher yields with big bud. I also what something fairly resistant to cold temperatures since I love in the south.


Oh, and do you start outdoor grows inside? As in germination and early leaves then transport it?

nice man im about to do an outdoor grow myself...i say just pick one you like. what im doin is using seeds i got from some hermie bud i had Grapfruit, since i have alot and they were basically free with the bud i bought haha.

i like durban poison if you want to try that strain go for it and Big Bud is some badass smoke man i really enjoyed it...i live in the south to man, texas/

you dont have to start a grow for outside, inside. if you do though you can make them bigger, stronger, and better for when you do transplant them outside so they have a better chance against the elements and i think ultimitely grow bigger and yeild more

damn i must be blazed to i realized you were talkin to the other guy haha askin about tips to grow with big bud....man do you really flower with cfls? i dont see whats the big deal in spending a lil cash on a HID

durban can take quite a bit of abuse, but lower temps aren't what it's made for. what type of temps are you talking about? durban will not yield like big bud, and certainly doesn't smoke like it - two completely different types of weed, two completely different types of plant.

germin ma durban as we speak , you had a good experience with the poison before papi?
heard they are quite resiliant hence germin at the same time as northern soul and DPs blueberry - im after a little choice , pluss dels got me stuck in the cross polinating mind frame now . . you dun a blueberrybubblegum?

i know you guys are talking strains here, but im new so please excuse the new guy. i was reading earlier somewhere here that you can only expect to get approx. 3/4-1 oz from each plant grown. i was wondering how can this be? are those people only growing plants one foot tall? ive never grown a plant in which i got less than 4 ounces from, indoors or out. and my average plant size is about 3-4 foot not including the pot. am i just a god or something, or is this what other growers get too? thanks a mill for any replies.
