My grow room, expert help needed!

Ok here are the plans for my growroom i have built the shell and going to buy all the required equipment in the next week or so

Its 8.5x8.5 and about 7 ft tal in the middle what i need to know is will i need 2 hps bulbs and hoods for a room this size (prob only 4x8 of the cental area will be used due to the slopping roof) or could i get away with one? btw they will be using cool tubes if i can get them

It looks like im going to have 2 intake fans, 1 pulling new air through the roof and into the room to circulate air and 1 pulling air through the roof and into the cool tubes and 1 extraction fan pulling the old air out of the room into the chimney

Any sugestions anyone?

have i added things in there that i dont really need, this will be my first decent growroom, im used to using cupboards lol so all advice welcome

P.s what watt hps would you people recommend, id prefere to just use the one if possible

If your only going to use one light, I would recommend an HPS light, 600w would be a good choice. Or maybe even a 1000 watt light. All in all it sounds like a good lil set up. Like your ventilation system idea.

How hot does it get in the summer where your at because if your pulling in hot air from outside into a hot room it wont help much... Can you take air from inside the house because if you have ac you probably run it at 70-75 which is the perfect temp for your girls... Just a thought

For that size room I would go with at least one 1000 hps, or even two 600s.

For the ventilation, I would take one inline fan, pulling through a cool room inside the house, through the reflector or reflectors, and out the roof. With the second inline fan, I would pull cool air from a passive intake, some where at the bottom of your cabinet, and exhaust out the roof. No real need for the third extraction fan. I would also look at decent size fans. around 500 cfm. You can always add speed controlers to the fans if need be.
