If I do get caught growing a plant in my closet...

my wife say if we get busted she is going to take the blame for it, since its in a grow box, if some cop decided to dust it for prints they would find mine and not her's, so for your family not to get into trouble I would have them not touch anything associated with the grow. I think the whole ignorance thing would work if its a small production

I'm planning on growing for myself. I'm not growing so I can eventually sell my harvest.

If I have to I'll grow just one plant. How much can you harvest from one plant?

I'm also considering growing a plant inside of a tree. Trees seem to be very good places to grow in stealth. There are orange trees near me that almost completely conceal anything inside of their foliage. These trees are also not on my property which is a plus and the property that they are on belongs to a landord and as of now no one is living there.

If something takes place on your property then you are legally liable with or without consent Example: Someone gets drunk with you on your property and on the way home they crash and are injured, you will be sued and lose every time. Look up penalties on the NORML webpage. But honestly a plant or 2 for yourself and you keep it on the DL shouldn't be a problem just don't sell any.

P.S. thats how it is in my state at least...

P.P.S. I'm not a lawyer but thats how it was last time I heard

In Ohio, there was recently a case where a landlord had a property seized and has to pay $1,000's of dollars in fines because one of his renters was using the house as a grow op (the landlord had no clue and lived two hours away from the property). The house was seized by the state and the landlord was ultimately responsible in paying the fines to get the house back. It was a mess for the guy and he had nothing to do with it. In all, he lost a lot of money because of something he didn't do.

That being said, if you grow in your parents house unbeknownst to them, they WILL be held responsible unless some leniency is granted. It does depend on the state and the judge that gets the case, but it could potentially cost your parents a LOT. If they know of the grow and don't care, then there's nothing to discuss. The whole point is that, in most cases, if something happens on a property, whoever owns the property is responsible. That came directly from my best friend, who is a lawyer.

Just remember this man. If you do make the choice to grow don’t be going out telling all your friends not even the closest. Just keep it normal and cool and when they ask where you got the bomb fresh bud… Say you got it from a guy up the street. Just don’t be dumb and you can do anything you want.

If your worrying about the safety of your parents (who deserver the most respect in the world) then go find a good spot to grow on a private property or national park man, plant heaps of ivy and shit around it to throw of little jerk offs and try that out. its not worth having your folks get done for something you did.. regardless of how retarded the law is against growing a plant

Do you happen to have any journals of your grow or at least any pics? I can only dream of achieving what you have.

all you need is two cabs for flowering and some room for seeds or clones. go 12/12 straight from seed or clone untill they show their sex in the clone/seedling area then put them in flowering box 1. you should already have seeds germinating by this time so as soon as you move the plants showing sex to the flowering box you can start your next ones. at about 30 days or so, move the flowering plants into box 2, move the seedlings or clones into box 1, then again you should have seedlings on the go already and keep the cycle going

im crap at explaining but basically

cab 1 - seedlings

cab 2 - plants half way done

cab 3 - plants mature

there you go, the 30 day perpetual cycle
