See I would not take a chance with a closet. If you want to be safe go with the dresser and make sure you put stuff on it like knickknacks and stuff like that so it looks like stealth.

Closet Closet Closet I think its your best choice, its easier,less problems with c02 heat humidity etc. U can vent anywhere and still be stealth cabinet is more work and less yield ya know? Good luck!

As far as an ounce a month then u need a perpetual harvest and the best way to do that is using both closets 1 for veg and 1 for flowering youll just be upgrading later so might as well do it know and to have a prescription what state r u in ?

im in the state that does not give out prescription marijuana... alothough i read on norml.com that we have a law that if i do have a script from the doctor to allow me to use marijuana that i can not be arrested for growing or possesion

wow man your state sucks i looked it up and 35g or less is a misdemenor and 35g to 30kg is a felony and up to 7 years! I hate this fucking stupid country that allows me to grow 8oz dry bud 6 plants legally and puts you in jail for up to 7 years for less than that fuckin makes me insane we need to change this bullshit!

Clowdy i understand where you are coming from but he said there is nothing that anyone would need to be in his closet for sooo if someone was snooping and found the closet grow then they will find the cabinet grow as well so might as well go with the bigger area just makes sense to me!

Find out your maxs in your state and grow to that! If your state says its a misdamenor to have 3 plants or less then grow 3 plants not 1 or 2 cause if your caught it wont matter if your under ya know?

I doubt that i gotta worry about the closet... as long as i dont cut holes in the walls or vent .... as long as the door is shut.. I will buy a lock and put on my closet or dressor.. whichever i go with...and a lock for my bedroom door.. just for safe keeping

ya cut up in to the vent IMO i say cut a square and save the piece of dry wall so u can fix with a litle bit of joining compound and a putty knife

Yo greenearth, have you considered just going to home depot and buying the cheapest door they have that will fit your closet? It'll be like $20. Remove the existing door (4-6 screws) and replace with cheap door. You can even switch out the hardware so you don't have to buy a second set (although that would be best because you could buy a locking doorknob with a key for extra security). Then make all the holes you want in the cheap door. Just attach fans and carbon filters straight to the door on the inside. On the outside you can put the plastic slotted vents they sell for dryers over the holes.

Otherwise I would cut the drywall like dankman said. It's very ease to patch up. Use a razor blade to make a clean cut and just putty the piece back into place later.

But guys the thing is all because there is a lock on it doesn't mean the landlord can not get the police or some type of authority to knock down the door.

OK, what if a maintenance man comes in for an unrelated reason. Smells a bit of weed and goes to investigate. If he opens an unlocked door to see a whole bunch of plants that is something he is likely to report. If he finds a lock on the door there is a better chance he will simply forget about it instead of busting down your door. It takes less than 5 minutes to switch out a doorknob. Why not do it?
