quick ? about hps light

i have a 150w hps light with a s55 ballast. i have an other 150w hps light with a s55 ballast but this light bulb is bigger and the socket it screws in is bigger.what's the difference if any?? is it the same light output?? will it light alittle more area?? will it make more heat?? any help please.thanks

im not putting them down im just saying that the heat is a problem. and i already pay too much for electric so why have another spike in my bill???? honestly i had a hps system and it fried my plants and i had serious heat issues. but when i changed to the 105 watt cfls the heat problem went away also the heat caused algae and such to grow in my tank because of how hot the water got due to the lights. i just had bad times with hot lights. and dont worry about being fat i was just being a jerk sometimes i get like that when i run out of weed which at the moment im completly out.
