Hello everyone.

Im sure this question has been asked a million times but what constitutes a warrant for arrest or to search a house. Or in general.


Basically im "under the radar" as of now, possibly. I dont sell or anything, i stick to myself for the most part. Ill socially smoke but im not producing for my city. Im just growing to smoke for myself so i dont have to deal with shady drug deals, and i can save myself a buck, and i can have some clean weed(sativa too)
So anyway thats my backround and i only stated that so it would be noted that the cops aren't looking for me specificly im just another guy so my arrest would be very unlikly.

But this thread was made for the event of the unlikly. I heard a story of a kid who tried to by embalming fluid on ebay or somethig like that(for those of you that dont no its the main ingridient for some real hard drugs: forgot which i think its pcp or meth)
But anyway him pressing the purchase button is what caused him to get arrested. I buy some of my equipment online, bongs, papers all that junk and some lights. Would this be enough for them to get a search warrant on my house? If they ever suspected me?

All the police need is probable cause to get a search warrent.It must be based on fact,either a felon is present or a crime has been commited.There is another type of warrent that can be issued if the police know a crime is going to be commited.OPH

I think the pigs got more to worry about than some dude buying 1.25 papers and a glass pipe. They need PC like old pothead stated. Buying a light or nutes online doesnt add up to PC all in itself. Now combine it with "being under the radar" and getting busted smoking, selling and that shit all adds up.

Now what if we just factor in, one person telling a cop that kid grows weed. Then my under the radar is gone... point in case ex girlfriend

If you have a pissed off girlfreind with revenge in mind,there is the cops pc.
On the story about the kid who ordered off of ebay,they got the other type of warrent because what he bought was used in drug manufacturing.OPH

If i wasn't straight I would be gay, I swear it.


But anyway that sucks cops are bastards though, I found out though that if you show them all your knowyerrights/cops 101 they really take it easy on you. They get almost scarred cause they think you some how know they didn't read the hand book and you did. SCORE ONE FOR US. You get the blank face but still pissed off anger your going down town look

barry coopers not that great. Hes a great guy and all and i love his video so far. But toward the advancement of legalization he isn't that effective.

Anyway somewhere up there someone said to get a warrant they need probable cause based on fact.

Not quite accurate... They just make their own facts. They can go look over your property and say they saw the heat signatire of grow lights when in fact maybe it's your washer dryer. They can say they smelled the smell of weed growing, no way to back that up or determine if true whether it was actually a neighbor. etc etc

They could trace your internet traffic and just see dns lookups for rollitup.

They could dive in your trash and say they found growing supplies. (may only be some dirt from a dead houseplant)

They could see moisture on your windows (but maybe your house just sucks with no ventilation in the kitchen or bath)

They could pull your electic bill...

They could see hundreds of incoming phone calls...


Add a couple of those up and they have their warrant.

Not that this would happen in general much any more because so much of this used to go on and then it led to a lot of breaking down grandma's doors.
But if some cop suspects you, doesn't like you, can tell you're a pot smoking skateboarder or hippie just looking at you, whatever...

Busts don't generally start with the last things though, it's almost always stealing power or someone you know ratting you out.
Stay off their radar and tell nobody and don't grow too big. That's the best bet.

Unfortunately you can never really be safe if you're selling. It's not like you can only sell to yourself.

You are correct,it is supposed to be based on facts.But with a good lawyer their lies can be fought.I had a neighbour that was busted two years ago on a simple assault charge,the guy was a lying theif.I have video cams put all around my property.One of them was directed at his place to keep a eye on him.When he was busted 5 police cars and 8 deputies searched and removed property from his place.The video shows the cops faces and what stuff was taken and who's car in went into.When the guy got out i talked to him about what had happened.He was complaining about all of the stuff missing and not put on his evidence sheet.I have a copy now of the evidence sheet and video of the cops stealing his property,A shotgun and video and stereo equipment,plus other things.Only five things were listed as evidence.They were returned.My lawyer was very happy to see the tape i gave him.Can't wait till they fuck with me.OPH
