I will take pics and share. I really think this will be a good experience for her to learn about methods other then dirt. Shes helped me plant bulbs last spring and excited about seeing them flower. Also it will help me get over not growing mj in the house anymore.

How to keep roots white? Whats the best nutrients?

Certain nutes (especially organic) will stain ur roots a dark color. It is not an issue as long as u follow the instructions on ur nute bottle and change ur water on point every 2 weeks.

Maybe we should do a 5 gallon bucket grow of. Yield is the key. Lighting and Space are the factors. Grow methods and techniques are the key. This sounds fun for sure.
This is all i have on the grow off. But I think in order for it to be fair all things should be equal no matter what the grower chooses. At least 50 watts per square foot. DWC style. And U may choose the lighting of ur preference.

Are you all gonna veg to the same height or weeks?

Veg hieghts im sure will differ in different lighting chosen and some will reach glory slower. I say tho this is an awesome question.

I think the veg should be who ever hits 9 inches first. And the bucket is cool but i was thinking tubs not exceeding 10 gallons. Nutes and lighting is growers choice. guidelines should be on the tub and time requirements only. IMO

as soon as you hit your required height, then you flower. The winner will be determined by look and weight of harvest after drying and curing. so grower should have a scale and very good camera!

Well thats what i mean,by haveing a certain height limit to begin flowering it can be even for everybody.

All i have room for right now is a bucket net. Unlees u all want to match sog tubs then that would be very simple. Ive already laid out the design and requirements. I cant change all that now.
