I didn't say it was to big, I said it was a "little extreme" and ok, I should have added "In my opinion" at the end, I do apologise.
I have grown some monsters myself, and yes a lb of a plant clearly more impressive than 2 ounces. But the guy has just said that he was having problems growing that big. So I offered some advice, and suggested a height at which to flower, which would not result in him having plants he could not control.
That was the information he sought you see, I don't think he wanted to be told he CAN grow big, he wanted to know how to grow SMALLER!
Oh and one last thing, I found out a long time ago that, In the time it takes me to veg and flower a "big" plant indoors, I can turn around 2 crops of smaller plants that all enjoy the same light intensity at the top as at the bottom, and yield just as much in the same timespan, if not more.
I wonder how efficiently your 1k bulb is lighting the bottom of you plant 6ft away? Do You?
