Rinsing Cutting

Anyone regularly rinse their harvest? I have a kinda dusty area(fine soil dust gets on everything) and I think that I should rinse the fresh harvest, then shake it out well before drying - that rinse and shake shouldn't be an issue right?

I would not do anything to harm the trichs, rinsing or blowing with compressed air could damage your trichomes, would could result in lower potency.

If you're going to do that I would suggest just water curing instead. If you wet your buds and then let them dry out they are in perfect conditions for mold to grow. If you do decide to wash them off, don't do it more than once and make sure the buds get dry in a timely manner before any mold could possibly start to grow.

If you're interested in water curing here are some nice links:

No freaking way man... Not rinsing I mean. Water cure I have never tried but absolutely do not try to rinse because the buds will hold the water and you risk some serious nasty mold.

We live with dust all around us, we breath it, we eat it, it's fine... But smoking mold can actually give you incredibly bad lung infections, so never take that chance and always dry your bud properly before bagging it up.

Try the water cure if you like, just don't try to rinse them like you were talking about.
