Will my marijuana plants begin to really stink?

When I begin growing my plants will they begin to really stink of marijuana smell?

If so what are some things I can do to filter or neutralize the smell?

All I can tell u is that YES they will stink, and most likely they will stink well before flowering, well, mine do anyway. I don't worry much about the smell though, but u shouldlook into carbon filters, I hear they work. They got some DIY stuff for them in the FAQ.

haha , sorry - but there is a massive faq bit , and a before you post thread , and a search feature and now im turnin into 1 of those forum turds that i hate so . .
DIY filters are top notch , have a little browse and u will hav ideas a plenty to ways round your problem im sure though!

mr james , roughly how long into veg do you notice ur scent? usually with specific strains or?

My plants stunk worse during Veg than flower. I really think it depends on the strain. A carbon filter should take care of any concerns you have.

Northerns is considered a low odor strain? fuck, my northerns stunk somethin pretty fierce, even in veg! I didn't mind though, smells yummy.

Im new to this growining thing but im trying to grow sour deisel is soil the best to grow in and how much light do i need to for about 8 plants is a 600 watt good

While its 100% true that your plants will smell, how much they smell outside of their environment can very greatly. Good ventilation, filters, and the so many other things play into how much you will be able to smell. Anyone that says you WILL smell them outside the box no matter what you do is wrong. I've encountered setups that I can smell the moment I open the door to their house, and I've seen setups with dozens of plants and once the guy closes the door you can't smell a thing.
