How's it going around here? I got some christmas joy, the plant I put on 12/12 showed me lovely christmas pistals. Couldn't have asked for a better gift !!!

Now if we could ring in the new year, take the decorations down and wait for spring to get here.

Thanx guys, xmas was good, if a little hectic as usual, all goin good, the clones are on day 28, 4wks of 12/12 today.

Great news on your girl showing you pistils for xmas Miss! Are you gonna clone from her then??

Pictures taken yesterday, temps a little hard to manage at the moment, flower room is max'ing out at 23-24 lights on and 15-17 lights off, a bit low for my liking and i think they are getting some N and Mg def because of it, i may go and pick up a growroom heater today or tomorrow.

Humidity is a little on the low side too, i like it around 45-55% in flower, but, better to be low than high in a flower room

I actually like to clone before I put them in 12/12, I know cloning before I know gender, but it's because according to Jorge Cervantes when you put a plant into 12/12 then clone it and stick it back to veg, it degrades the genetics of the plant. If you clone while still in veg it makes the thc production stronger.

I've appemted making oil on several occasions and never can i make it like londoner, he must be very tallented man

I knocked up a quick table out of some scraps of MDF i had on my balcony to seperate the two sections of the room, covered the top with some thick white blackout sheeting that i had spare.

Then hung the two 125w eco-lites on the undersides of the table to form the mother/cloning room.

Then of course i put my two NL5 Haze mist mums in along with the BB Cheese mum in their new home.

why did you keep the clones and moms in same room?
you can grow mom and clones under same 250w hps.but you put only clones under 250 w hps,why ?hps is better than cfl for moms and clones,isnt it ?so why do you put the mom under the hps 250 watt?
shouldnt mom and clones be kept same room?

Yea iv read something along those lines too Miss, my plants are always sexed by 6wks of veg by just allowing them to pre-flower under their own steam on an 18/6 cycle (though iv been using fem seeds the past few years so i know the sex anyway ) letting a plant flower then stressing it back into veg can never be a good thing, and its something i wouldnt do unless i was trying to keep a certain strain or genetics.

Err ok.......

I seperated the room in two sections because the footprint of the tent wasnt big enough for the two mothers i had at the time and the 25 clones in the 1.4ltr pots, so i created the upper section to raise the clones under the 250w hps once rooted before going in to flower under the 600w hps. Once the clones were taken and well rooted, the two mothers were destroyed.

Erm, i only kept the clones in the same section of the room as their mothers while they were rooting, in the propagator and not taking up much space, and because the mother section is lit with 2 125w envirolites, which are basically high power cfl's, so arent as intense as the 250w hps, hence more suitable for rooting clones.

?? Third question, see answer No1.

No, mothers and clones dont have to be kept in the same room, once the clones are taken from the mother, they can go into any room you want as long as the environmental conditions suit.

Well my light is right up the top of the budbox now so i really hope they dont stretch much more, vertical growth does seem to have slowed but we'l see over the next week or two, i really dont wanna be tying them down in that jungle

Just worked off my hangover by reading through your journal (with appropriate vaporous breakfast, of course). Looks downright lovely. Once they get to the bud-setting stage - as yours appear to be - they generally don't get much taller, so you should have a nice (if somewhat tall) sea o' buds soon. You've definitely pushed it to the limit though! Good luck to you, and may your new year be filled with stinky buds!
